For use, first press your thumb firmly on battery cover arrow on back side of timer to remove cover, then insert the AAA battery in the proper direction. The LED screen will engage and default to 0. For an upward countdown push Stop/Start button, then press stop button to halt the countdown.For a predetermined countdown, press the "min" button down until your desired number of minutes are reached and the do then same for the "sec" button if needed. Then press start button and countdown begins until zero seconds are achieved at which time the alarm will sound, and then you can press stop to turn off alarm.The memory stores the last timer setting for quick repeat use. To reset screen to zero press "min" and "sec" buttons simultaneously. Display will reset to your programmed countdown for repeat timing, or you can reset it to zero by pressing "min" and "sec" buttons simultaneously. Comes packed with a commonly used AAA battery. Caution: Do Not connect improperly, charge, or dispose of battery in fire. Keep it organized on metal refrigerator with its built in magnet or use the pull out stand to place on counters. Better than first one
I have received this item for free, well since I had bought a timer that didn't work, the seller went above and beyond to please me and suggested this one instead of cheaper model. It is bigger, sturdier , ring is loud enough, magnet is strong enough to put in a fridge or something. Light enough to carry with you. The only thing I do not like is I am unable to reset it? Meaning that if I put it on for say 10 mins, it will ring and stop at 10 minutes but if want to bake something for 5 minutes I have to go through 100 I'm order for it to set at 5. Not ideal but I can leave with it. Again customer service was more than awesome so even though I had a bad experience with their first product, I will buy again from them in complete confidence knowing they will make it right if there is an issue

These two timers seem to work very well. I actually do not use these two timers for cooking, but rather for timing my speeches as a policy debater and both my assistant and I love how these timers function. They have proven to be very reliable so far and the company was very good about sending a follow up email to ensure that I approved of these timers. I would Absolutely buy these timers again. My only problem is that they do not have a reset to zero button, but very few timers out there do. They are made of solid stainless steal and they seem very sturdy.

The timer works wonderfully!! The magnet in back makes it handy to have close by but is slightly too hey for magnet to hold securely so I had to improvise. Would buy again & recommend!

Lots of features
My only other kitchen timers only went up to 60 minutes. This is much more convenient as it can be set for up to 99 minutes. Love that it is magnetic so that I can attach it to my fridge right at eye level. The readout is large and very easy to set. I would have preferred a louder signal. However, the back also has a eye hole for alternative hanging and a little "picture frame" stand for placing on a shelf/counter.
