Fresh Organic Ginger (16 Ounces)

I am so very happy to have taken a chance on this ginger. I admit I had my doubts about how fresh ginger purchased online could be, but those doubts have been laid to rest. Although I was buying organic ginger at the grocery store, I now realize I was buying and using an inferior product. This ginger passes every test for fresh, great-tasting ginger I have researched online. I received it almost immediately. Great find for ginger lovers such as myself!******UPDATE 10-15-2015: Although I have no complaints about this seller's customer service in terms of prompt response time, there seems to be an issue related to his claim that this is ORGANIC ginger. I've received two orders and each arrived in a clear plastic bag with no labeling whatsoever. Seller admits ginger is not certified organic and offers explanations and information that is difficult and confusing to follow. I'm not saying the ginger does not look and taste good; I'm personally skeptical due to unsubstantiated claims and feel that others should be made aware of the lack of proof concerning the claim of organic.

Not organic! My order was filled by Country Creek Acres and all I can say is they were NOT able to verify Country of Origin when I questioned. And mine was sooooo huge which is a clear indication the ginger was grown by concentional means rather than organic methods... i will never by from country creek acres again.

Funny that what i received is nothing at all like what was promised. In fact, it's the exact same "variety" that this seller claims to be not organic. The ginger liiks like every day store bought stuff and the turmeric was just in awful condition being shriveled and having numerous injuries. I'll be surprised if anything grows. I suspect this is all store bought and resold under a fabricated description. Store bought 90 percent of the time has a chemical applied to them that prevents them from growing. 1 star for the obvious bs this seller has for the description. Will update to 2 stars if anything grows. The only good thing about this purchase is that there is so much that was provided. However quality is preferred to quantity... And this is simply low quality lies.. 😒

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because there is no USDA sticker proving that it is organic. The product I received was very fresh and nicely packaged in a brown paper bag. The skin is nice and thin instead of shriveled which indicates that it is fresh.

This ginger arrived today, several days ahead of schedule. While I was pleased with the service, I was not pleased with the product. Several of the large pieces were soft and mushy, and unusable. I might be able to understand this if it was warm out, but it’s cold here in PA. I’ve contacted the seller and am waiting on a resolution.

I was so agitated by what I was paying for at the grocery store that they called ginger. This ginger is so full of flavor I am just amazed every day when I drink my ginger tea or add chunks to my smoothie. Incredible delightful difference! Thanks so much!

A pound of fresh ginger arrived in the mail. Not well packed. Instead of fresh organic ginger shown in the picture on the left side, only half of the ginger looked real. the other half was much too large and way different. Obviously they are from two different types. The price is way too expensive for only half of the amount was correct.

I can't buy fresh ginger regularly in my area. I was pleased to find this on Amazon. I have ordered from them several times. Ginger is always fresh! I make a cold/flu remedy tea. I drink it every day for an immune booster! It works perfectly for this! I store it in the freezer in between times. I will definitely use them again!
