It has staying power ... Both with kids interest and with durability
I bought this 14 months ago for our 20 month old grandson on a hunch that even at that age, he may enjoy the excitement of seeing Nani make the rocket fly. Since we are vigilant in his playtime, caution about small parts ie: the toy's wing nut, aren't an issue. But unmonitored play is not an option for a toddler.Actually, our only issue was to make sure he wouldn't attempt to chew the foam rockets. He did make one large hole in a rocket but never again when he realized that rocket wouldn't fly any more.My intent was to stomp the rocket launcher for him. I got to do it once. Our then tiny guy watched it go up up up. When it landed, he toddle raced to go pick it up. When he got back to the launcher, I expected him to want to see me repeat the performance. Instead he leaned way down, examined the launcher, straightened up and - and since he wasn't yet much of a talker yet, he simply stomped his foot. Message received. I showed him - let him - helped him, push the rocket onto the air tube. His first stomp attempt only got the rocket halfway off the tube. He didn't have the aim or power. I showed him how to jump on it with two feet instead. Successful launches grew more frequent. On occasion, he'd let me stomp too! It grew into a great success, in several ways. While it wasn't the only toy he played with, it was one he faithfully played with, and still plays with, every time he stays with us...(every other weekend)! He's now turning 3 and we've had 14 months of this toy being launched, stepped all over, dunked in the pool, stuck in trees, and tugged away from his same aged cousin. Since we live in warm Phoenix, that's a lot of abuse, and adult with child FUN.. And while he couldn't really talk well when he first got it, if anyone asked him what he was going to do at Nani's house, he would stomp his foot and smile. It drew smiles from everyone else too.If you are reading this review, then you're probably looking hard for a toy that has the big three elements. Kid appeal for the long haul. Durability. Price. But add in the kid and adult bonding fun factor... and this becomes a grand slam.A tip or two. Plan on buying an extra bag of rockets down the road. They really fly and if the wing nut that holds the trajectory tube in place loosens (it does) the rocket can end up in someone's gutter or trees or In the mouth of the neighbor's bulldog.Note: The more deluxe version of this isn't as good a flyer, has more hard plastic and our little guy returned almost immediately to his junior version. What a bonding experience it's been for all of us.Five Big Stars! It’s been 7 years since the first purchase. He’s nine now, and we’ve replaced it twice. He isn’t into it by himself now, but when his pals are over? They get very competitive. They take it to the park so it doesn’t disappear into a neighbors yard or solar panels. It’s just plain fun.

So simple and so fun!
I recently purchased the Stomp Rocket Jr Glow Rocket Launcher for my kids, and it has quickly become a favorite outdoor activity! The set comes with four glow-in-the-dark rockets that are easy to assemble and lightweight, perfect for little hands. The launcher is simple to use - just stomp and watch the rockets soar up to 100 feet into the air!Not only is this toy incredibly entertaining, but it also promotes STEM learning as kids experiment with trajectory and force. Plus, the glow feature adds an extra element of excitement, especially for evening playtime.Overall, I highly recommend the Stomp Rocket Jr Glow Rocket Launcher for any parent looking to encourage active outdoor play and STEM exploration. It’s a hit with both boys and girls and provides hours of fun for the whole family!

Lots of Fun, No Skill Required
I bought the Stomp Rocket Jr. Glow Kit as a fun gift for my three year old son. The Amazon reviews were over the top positive and the price tag was low--so I thought why not? This item has far exceeded my expectations. This is my favorite toy ever, and my son is in complete agreement. The idea is that you stomp on the stomp box to send one of four foam rockets flying through the air. It is so easy, addictive, and fun. The stomp box is soft so even my three year old can send rockets hurtling 50 feet or more into the air. The air rushes through a flexible tube that you put the foam rocket on and sends it way higher than you think you're going to send it. The whole set up is connected to a plastic stand of three pieces that you snap together. Only a single wing nut attachment (included)is needed to hold it all together. You can angle the tube to send the rocket straight up, horizontally, or on a variety of trajectories. The foam rockets are very durable. They are soft so I wouldn't let a dog or cat chew them, but they have been indestructible in my son's overeager hands and have lasted damage-free through thousands of launches. My son is still working on coordination and has tripped over the stand on multiple occasions so it does come apart rather easily, but it just snaps back together--no big deal. I'd like to see an improvement in future versions, but I don't see a reason to downgrade the rating for this small inconvenience. We played with it for around an hour and a half the first time that we used it. If you have a child this young, then you know the miracle of keeping a child entertained that long. It is an outdoor toy for sure, but I'm thinking we'll get use out of it in a hallway or children's playroom during stormy days. I hope you'll order one if you are on the fence about it. The whole family will love it.

Shoots straight up and goes far
Some of these stump rockets aren’t able to be shot straight up but this one can be which we wanted. The stomper itself isn’t the best of quality and I doubt it’ll hold up long because my kids are little but it goes super far and they’re having fun. Can’t beat the price either.
