Celestial Perfume Body Oil – comparable to Sun, Moon & Stars Type, Women's Fragrance, 10ml (1/3 oz) Roll-On + 15ml Shea Scented Body Lotion

The fragrance Sun, Moon and Stars was one of my all time favorites, even my signature scent. It is timeless. Through the years, I was able to get it at really good prices, as low as 19.99. Until suddenly it appears the creator Lagerfeld took it off the market. Then people who had hoarded the product at really cheap prices are now selling it for over 300.00 a bottle! I doubt that I ever paid over 50.00 a bottle, even in the 90's.So what a nice surprise to find this version in a body oil. I took a chance reading the great reviews, and I'm just stunned at how good it is!I would say the only slight difference is the the original scent is slightly more crisp. But, this is dead-on otherwise. I Love it! Most knock off's smell cheap and like alcohol, but this smells like the most expensive perfume, it's body oil after all, so no alcohol. You will also get a small bottle of lotion with it. Put that on first and then the body oil. You won't believe you're not wearing the original version, it's that good! Thanks for making this product, I'll be buying more!

Back in the '90s, I inadvertently got my mom hooked on Sun Moon Stars. My bathroom was decorated with a celestial theme and I came across a Lagerfeld Sun Moon Stars handsoap set — a shimmery golden sun, midnight blue star, and silvery pearl crescent moon — and bought it only because it fit my theme. I didn't even realize it was a scented item when I purchased it. But when I opened the soaps, they smelled AMAZING, and sitting in a covered glass dish in my bathroom, I often opened the dish and took a whiff. (I still have those soaps and they still smell as good as they did when I bought them over 20 years ago.) When my mom smelled the soaps, she fell in love with the scent and bought a bottle of the perfume. She wore it all the time and went through several bottles of it over the years. When she passed away in 2009, her last bottle of Sun Moon Stars was one of the things I kept and cherished most, but when I spritzed a bit recently, which I hadn't done for a couple of years, I found it had finally turned. I came online to try to order a new bottle, but it's crazy expensive. I wasn't able to tell if it had been discontinued or if the price is just insanely high. But I've ordered discontinued perfumes online before for high prices and when they arrived, they were already spoiled, so I didn't want to take a chance on stuff that people are charging nearly $200 for. So I looked for a replica and came across this.This is VERY close to Sun Moon Stars. It's not exact, but it's close enough that I was truly impressed when I opened it and it reminds me of my mom, so this was a winner for me. It also got here really fast. With a lot of Amazon Sellers, it takes weeks for stuff to arrive, but I ordered this on a Sunday and it was shipped Priority Mail and arrived on Wednesday! The seller is in New York and I'm in California, so the fast arrival was an unexpected surprise. And there was a sample of another perfume oil included. I'm really pleased. :)

Die hard Sun Moon and Stars wearer here. Devastated when Karl Largerfeld stopped production. Then I stumbled across this gem and it is absolutely wonderful! Love the roll on bottle. The fragrance is highly concentrated so you only need a little on you pulse points and the scent lasts for hours!They always give me a little sample of the lotion in the same fragrance with my order. The GoodFirst let me say this perfume oil is a wonderful, exact dupe of the original classic SMS! I am thrilled with the quality and lasting quality which is 8-10 hrs! The free lotion was another surprise and it, too, is stunning! Good job Jane Bernard.The BadProduct arrived with cap loose & perfume oil leaked out. The leak appears to be from ill fitting roller ball. Label came off with all the leakage & box was stained (but smelled DEVINE!). I will buy again.I tried to contact seller direct to give her time to make the purchase right, but the choice of using a “messaging service” did not accept my complaint. I tried 3x.Next I tried to contact Amazon Cust Svc, thru chat, but was told Seller handles own.I want a replacement product or refund. Your choice.Amazon should make it easier to find direct Seller contact info and lose the jenky & unworkable “virtual cs assistant” that is crap. This is unacceptable Amazon.The Good againAfter Googling I was able to find Seller contact phone from her website (not thru Amazon). I used to love this scent so much, and was very disappointed when it was discontinued. I was a little hesitant to try an "imposter" version but any vintage bottles I could find of the original scent were way out of my budget. So I gave this one a try and OMG AM I GLAD I DID!! This stuff smells SO GOOD. It smells exactly like I remember the original smelling. This also has the added bonus of being scented oil, containing no alcohol, so the scent will last a lot longer than normal perfumes do. The merchant also sent a little bottle of lotion as a free gift! I am highly pleased and will definitely purchase again in the futur.

doesn't smell like the perfume of Sun, Moon and Stars at all... don't waste your money.

I'm not sure what happened on this. I got an email asking if this was safe for travel. I answered no, because my bottle leaks unless it's standing upright. Then I log on tonight to see if anyone else answered this question, and the seller is the only answer posted (?)!I love the fragrance, and if the bottle didn't leak I would've given it 5 stars. But I also don't like that my answer to the question mysteriously disappeared...
