If you are out searching for the meaning of life, then search no more! I can't state with a straight face that I understand every proverb, poem or otherwise logical snippet found within these pages, and I'm continually left wondering if there is some deeper meaning that I'm missing - perhaps if I was to string the snippets together as a single line of an x64 program, something would emerge (!! ??).I love the aesthetic feel of the book, and the nerdery of secretly thinking that I can't be half-bad as a programmer if I keep a copy of ASM poetry next to my keyboard.This book is definitely worth pondering over a tequila or two late on a Sunday evening as you stare into the abyss of yet another week of if-then statements.

Absolutely brilliant coffee book head-scratcher, brain-teaser book. Or poetry. Or possibly both! I've had a brilliant time working out each in turn, annotating the book with pencil while away from a computer having a break. Highly recommended

This is a great book for any reverser and assembly lover. One of the great things about those riddles is getting to know many different sides and cool corners of assembly language you do not encounter normally:)

Some of this code unpacks to some really elegant logic, buy this and try to duplicate.

Simply fantastic. Every page is fun and enjoyable. I love having my printed copy of it on my desk in the office to read from time to time and to show to the colleagues, attracting (or pushing some of them away!) them to the poetry of assembly code.

A series of short assembler code each representing a puzzle, a logic gem, or simply a brain teaser. You only need to have a working knowledge of assembly language and how to use a debugger to be able to work your way through the book. Do not expect to find an explanation or "answers" to these code snippets, it is up to you to figure out the meaning and learn something from them. Highly enjoyable.

After a while still cannot get the meaning of it.Looks like haiku in assembler but may be also a 100 test pages of the printer from 80’s put together..I give it 4 stars not to look too angry..

A strangely fun experience. solving these little puzzles.
