Comparable to any of the small, staple bound "field notes" books. It comes with enough in each one for roughly a month of daily "reminders" and the dot grid layout is great! I truly don't think I've seen any that are a better value for money.

These Yansanido black, dotted, pocket notebooks are a nice value considering the bulk purchase price. Do note that the pages feel very thin, however, they accept fountain pen ink with no feathering and only bleed through the page if layered. The pages are white and I find that the gray dots are visible in dimmer less than favorable light. Also, once you have written on a page the dots seem to disappear and do not bleed through your written text. The only issue I have with these notebooks is that they suffer from a less than favorable odor which I hope will go away with time. However, odor aside, I would and will reorder them when the need arises.

I did not start using this product until I got deployed, so now I cannot return it. The paper is really cheap, think printer paper, but Bible thin. I guess can live with that.What I could not look over is that the dots are not square. They are wider than they are tall. I'm talking it's a rectangle,almost 5:3. Very disappointing.
