Myler Eggbutt 14mm Comfort Snaffle Wide Barrel 5

I already have a 5" triple barrel mullen mouthpiece, which is a perfect fit for my mare's mouth... this MB02 fits a little larger and I thought it would be too big. The egbutt rings seem large as well, although my mare has a very feminine head and jaw so that might be an optical issusion. That said, once my mare had figured out the bit she was more forward, steady and confident when the bit was engaged vs. other mullen or double jointed moughpieces I've tried. I love the myler bit line, and I'm very glad this mouthpiece is now dressage legal.

Very good, quality, brand new. Myler's are spendy bits, but they save money in the long run and they don't pinch my horses mouth as long as you get the right size.

This bit has made a difference in the way my horse and I connect. He is very light, and this helps me be light in the hand.

I have tried every type of Bit on my very sensitive Mare. In 3 years she has never really been comfortable or accepting of the contact.First time riding in this bit, her mouth and head were quiet, she was not chomping or shaking her head. She seemed really comfortable, relaxed and calm. Contact was not a problem with this bit and her self carriage was amazing. She was clearly very happy with the new found comfort.
