Franke Olympus (SP3561, 1427R-H) Replacement Valve Cartridge Spare - Hot

I recently purchased this item, and have been using it for [quite some time. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my purchase. Here are my thoughts:Pros:Quality: The build quality is excellent. It feels sturdy and well-made.Performance: It performs as advertised.Design: The design is sleek and modern.Ease of Use: It’s very user-friendly. I had no trouble setting it up and using it right away.

I purchased these cartridges to replace the Howdens Lamona Victorian tap cartridges which use the SP3561 cartridge and these fit nicely. Time will tell how long they last. The original one’s lasted 8 years. These were much cheaper than purchasing from Tap Spare outlets or Howdens. I did try off shelf from a plumber’s merchant’s but the handle kept slipping off as the spine bit was a couple of mm smaller. So far so good.

The cartridges were easy to fit and solved the problem of the tap dripping.The quality was better than I anticipatedI would certainly recommend them and the company.

These replacement cartridges were of good quality and very easy to fit. Whilst I only needed to use one of the cartridges it is good to gave the other as a spare for when the hot water one needs replacing. It was helpful having the allen key included with the cartridges too. I placed the order in the morning and it was delivered that evening. The price was also very competitive compared to other suppliers.

We never write reviews, but felt we had to in this case. These are excellent compatibles for the Franke Olympus tap. No drips at all, unlike a pair of cartridges we bought from Tap Magician, prior to these, that looked fine but were not an exact fit and so the tap continued to drip! These supplied by TapSparesUK are 5 stars!

Works really well to replace the Franke Davos J cold valve. One thing to note, the screw which holds in place the tap lever was different on mine, as in the original screw was larger than this replacement. So I needed to find a slightly smaller screw to finish the job. I had one, so the whole job took about 5 mins.Other than this screw, everything else fits perfectly.

Bought these to replace a dripping cold water tap's cartridge. It works, but the lever is now far stiffer than it is was. Screw the fixture in finger tight and the lever is fine, but if you nip it up with a spanner, the lever becomes too stiff. The coloured rubber washer on the end, appears to be much fatter than the original's. Lever is almost too stiff to use, so this is a temporary fix at best.
