GS Supplements - Turmeric Curcumin for Anti-Inflammatory, Pain Relief, Antioxidant Supplement, 600 mg, 60 Capsules

I've tried 6-8 different brands, nothing compares to Gaia. I really couldn't tell much difference when I took other turmeric's, but this I did. I was amazed it only took 2 days and I could feel the inflammation letting up. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I don't like all the pharmaceutical drugs that I'm supposed to take, so when I can find a natural way, that works, I feel like I'm helping my body.

Turmeric/Curcumin is a great anti-inflammatory and may be helpful with chronic dry eye syndrome. Most Turmeric/Curcumin capsules contain added Bioperine to increase absorption. However, Bioperine causes me to have an itchy, burning sensation in my eye. I did my research and found this product. I decided to give it a try and see if I could absorb the Turmeric/Curcumin, without the added Bioperine, which so many articles say you MUST have in order to absorb it.After a week of taking this product, I do not believe that I am absorbing enough Turmeric/Curcumin in each capsule to help me with CHRONIC DRY EYE SYNDROME. I have noticed a significant change in the comfort and clarity of my vision, which had improved considerably when taking Turmeric/Curcumin WITH added Bioperine. I am very disappointed.

First time ordering this so don't know if this will work as described. Bottle received states that this is 450mg, not 600mg as shown on the website. Disappointed to see this discrepancy as my research shows that the higher the mg, (at least 1000mg) the better it is.

My husband and I both take this as part of our daily supplements. I'm in my thirties and he's in his forties so we're starting to really think about how we want to age- we've heard so many great things about curcumin, including it's anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant benefits. I honestly don't know too much about how it's sourced, etc. but this brand seems the same as more expensive brands I've purchased at health food stores.

There are a lot of turmeric supplements out there and it's sometimes hard to narrow them down. I bought this in part because it's a reputable brand made in the US. Turmeric seemed more brightly colored than some others I've had. Does what it's supposed to do--reduce inflammation, important for me because of tough workouts. I also believe it has cognitive benefits.

After removing the stickers covering the directions and ingredients, I could see that the content of these is not what was advertised. 500mg instead of 600mg. And contains silica & gelatin which are not in the listing.

I noticed a significant decrease in joint discomfort pretty quickly. I have only needed to take one pill a day. It doesn't completely reduce visual swelling, but the reduction in discomfort makes this well worth it. You just need to stick with it. I told my primary doctor I'm taking it. She reported that a number of her patients take turmeric and describe similarly positive results.

I have had frequent back pain the past few years and don't like to take ibuprofen. As I researched alternatives, I found a lot of information about the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric curcumin and ordered my first bottle. My wife and I are both taking it and not only has it worked for my back pain, it has definitely added to our overall health and well being.
