This feels like a high quality tool, seatbelt cutter is very sharp. It's lightweight, fits great on the visor and gives us peace of mind.

I have seen these demonstrated so I know it will work perfectly. Fits nicely in your hand for use and is very handy hanging from your visor. Better emergency placement than most tools. Got for my car and my parents. Glow in the dark handle should make it easy to find in dark or smoke. Most people don't think of one until they need it. Recommend very much.

One of those things you buy and hope you never have to use. This is a well built, and nicely designed emergency escape tool, which I have placed in all my cars and plan on buying more as gifts for family and friends. Easy to install, and not obtrusive like other emergency tools on the market. Very pleased and like I said, hopefully I will never have to use it.Oh in regards to some of the 2 star ratings and negative feedback, this tool is not intended for diving, nor is it advertised for such. As a diver you should know, there's over 150 grades of stainless steel. Gear that will be exposed to extreme (salt) water generally use the most corrosion resistant version (very high chromium content) of stainless steel. Due to the nature of this tool and its intended use, it wouldn't make economical sense to use such a high grade and costly version of stainless steel. If they did, I'm almost certain they could not be able to offer it as such an affordable price. So if you used this tool underwater, specially in salt water and it rusted, it's not the manufacturers or items fault, but your own for assuming you could.This device is also not intended to cut glass, but aid in breaking it. Cutting glass vs breaking it requires two different approaches and the material used to do so is also quite different. If you want to cut glass, buy a glass cutter.If you use this device for cutting other material, such as wires, cables, ties, etc, you can and will most likely damage the blade portion of the tool. Once again, this is not intended for such use, so if you use it for anything other than what it is being advertised for, don't be shocked if you ruin the tool.It's some what comical how many of the negative or 1 star reviews are all from those who used this tool in a manor it was not intended to be. Then as if they have been duped, leave an unjust review. This is a tool that essentially should only be used in an emergency. It has two very specific purposes, and using it in an environment or manor it was not designed to be, can damage and or make this device ineffective.

These are excellent. I bought a 2 pack, so my daughter has one as well. For vehicle rescue tools, it's important to have fast access to a tool that's not a knife, and won't potentially cut someone. I have tried using the glass breaker, so I can't comment on how well it works. The glass breaker is carbide, not steel, so it should work well. The retention strap and sheath are excellent. These tools aren't going anywhere, even in a bad accident. I have 2 negative things to say about these, hence the 4 stars, not 5. 1st, the retention strap for the sheath, isn't adjustable for length. 2nd, the grip can only fit 2 fingers. In my case, with 11" circumference palms, and sausage fingers, I can only fit 2 of my smaller fingers inside the grip. That said, the grip is coated with rubber, and you can hold it inside your palm. From the YouTube videos I've seen, the seatbelt cutter works perfectly.

This is a really well designed cutter and sheath. The cutter is obviously quality made for heavy duty application in rescue work. One of the best features is the sheath for the cutter... not only does it protect the user from the blade built with thick quality nylon but it also has a rock solid mounting system for the visor of your car... I cannot emphasize how important the sheath mounting feature is due to the kinetics of motor vehicle accidents. Weakly clipped or poorly secured items will fly around the cabin on a rollover or impact which provides not only a safety hazard but also could dislodge a poorly designed seatbelt cutter from your visor when you need it most for self or other family extrication. The mounting system is one of the best I have seen so far of several systems I have purchased through the years. I highly recommend this safety device without any reservation. It is definitely worth the investment for the quality design and materials used. I especially appreciated the glowing polymer to assist in finding the cutters in a situation where it is dark. Kudos to the designer and a huge thank you from a customer and emergency responder (not active now due to family but will return one day).

Fit well on our new car visor. Seems solid and is easy to remove from the pouch. Haven’t needed to use it yet so I’m not sure how hard it would be to use. 😉

Thankfully, I have not had to use this product, but it fits well on the visor and is sharp to the touch. No doubt it will work if ever needed.

My fiancé and I ordered this set of 2 , not in the hopes of ever having to use them, but in the one in a million chance that they might save our lives. We watched review videos before purchasing, and we immediately knew how effective they would be if we ever needed them! After ordering and getting our escape tools, we both love the design and how simple they would be to use in case of an emergency! The handle grip is amazing, the seatbelt blade is very sharp and would easily cut your seatbelt if needed! The video reviews already showed us how easily the glass breaker works and the straps attached easily fasten securely to your visor for easy access if said emergency were to occur. The bright neon green also made me feel more secure in knowing I could possibly see it more easily during night time. Buying this set definitely makes the both of us feel more secure while driving now, especially near high leveled waters! Thank you for making our lives a little more stressfree and safe!

Hoping it works if it is ever needed.

Buy the pink version for half the price. Hard to believe the colour pink is so bad that it's half price to the other ones. Funny stuff.Great tool , can you imagine if you needed it and it wasn't there, small chance yes; but good to have. And the chance you come across another car that needs it you can hand if off to someone, doesn't mean you have to jump on top of a toppled vehicle. You might really help someone just by having it.Also handy to cut long threads on clothes/shoes that you find while sitting in city traffic for hours.

Sharp. Used at work as an EMT on the ambulance. Slices through seatbelts and clothes.

Wife purchased two of these for our vehicles, we havn't had to use them for intended use. But overall seem to be a great product, great quality. Comes with a band to attach it to your sun visor in the vehicle. God forbid your ever in a situation where youll need this product. But if you are, your gunna be glad you have this to rip your seat belt, or smash your window with ease.

Great product, attaches nicely to visor, ready for an emergency
