Best book in the series and extra commentary
I’ve loved this series but this has been by far her best Love Beyond book! I loved Orick’s story and his character. I always find it pretty hilarious how Bethany Claire omits the beauty of the male for her next book. We have already experienced Orick in the previous book, but Jane wasn’t attracted to him! We knew he was huge, but we didn’t know he was gorgeous. I hope Cooper disappears every now and then to watch a movie, eat some gummy bears and escape his siblings!

Better than the last but the ending was a let down
This was a good comeback after the disappointment from the last book. I loved that right off the bat our characters are time traveling forward in time for a change. It seemed like Orick's declaration of love was a little rushed. I gets that it's fate and such but I found it along the lines of loving someone at first sight and telling them that. It's enough to scare any modern girl off and seems out of place in this series. I also felt like Orick wasn't as lighthearted and sarcastic in this book as the last. Maybe he needs to be around Adwen for his sense of humor to show but I really miss it.About 2/3 of the way through the book I felt the book becmae too silly/goofy almost. This one and the last one along with In Due Time haven't been up to Ms. Claire's standards and I find that and them disappointing. Fingers crossed for her next series that she's refreshed and back with her good storytelling and romance. This is where the book loses me, again with the ending too rushed, with a horrible wedding scene. I like the idea of it but I don't believe the two characters are in love. They've hardly spent any time together. Haven't gotten to know one another. Not to mention it seemed such an odd thing to introduce Marion then not have her around for 100+ pages then bring her back only to reveal who she is and kill her off in 10 pages. The continuity is a little wonky still at times but over all an enjoyable book if not a 5 star.

Good Story!
The time spent between Craig and the recluse was great but I wish they had shared more of their early family life to make their time more heartfelt.

Love this Author
Love this Author! This next book in the Morna Legacy series continues to delight! I loved Orick in the previous book and so glad he got his own love story. This is a shorter book than the previous books hence the cheaper price. The length is a sad disappointment though because I wasn't ready to say good bye to these characters. The writing and story lines are fun, creative, moving and like all the books in this series- very entertaining! The author does an amazing job of effortlessly floating the readers through the time travel; current day vs 1649. So Fun! I personally loved all the sexual scenes in Love Beyond Compare, but this book does not have nearly as many. Maybe in her new series......

good nighttime reading
Have read the first 6 of "Morna's legacy" books and they do keep your interest though feel a bit repetitious after a while. Writing is good if somewhat simplistic but amazingly i did get hooked. There's somewhat of a Harlequin Romance feel to these books but probably a step up (I haven't read any Harlequin books ever.) Am just getting started on book 7 and will undoubtedly buy 8 when it gets published. If you enjoy time travel romance and are looking to fill the time until Diana Gabaldon's next book in the Outlander series comes out, then you might go with these.

Scottish time travel romance
Every night since moving to Cagair Castle to oversee its renovation, Gillian's dreams have been filled with a gorgeous Scottish knight, fresh off the cover of some steamy novel. So consumed are her nights by this stranger that Gilliam even finds herself painting his portrait by day in a vain attempt to exorcise him from her subconscious mind. She is both intrigued and well and truly alarmed, however, when a little boy travelling with a mysterious party of guests staying at the castle recognizes her dream man--as a dearly departed friend.Meanwhile, in 17th century Scotland, a man wakes in a cavern to a lass tending his injuries after a nearly fatal fall off a cliff. Unfortunately, he has no memory of anything prior to his accident. After healing in body at least, it becomes time for him to strike out on his own to try to recover the lost threads of his life.Who is the mystery man in the painting? Could he be related to the injured. man in the cave? As these two seemingly unrelated stories come together, yet another member of the Morna's Legacy set finds love. This installment, while still an enjoyable, quick-read I devoured in all of 1 sitting, wasn't as suspenseful as some of the earlier books in the series. That said, I wasn't at all disappointed, and still plan to purchase the next book.

Love beyond
Absolutely brilliant. This series has kept me spellbound. Cleaning has been put on hold as well as cooking, a good job I live on my own.How Bethany has entwined all the characters in the series is just short of a miracle, it almost makes you want To live in the 1600s -----but perhaps not. You must read this whole series, I am looking forward to the next story in the Fall.

great book.
Yet another great book in a great series. Full of likeable characters and believable plot line. Definitely worth a read, but do the series in order or you don't get everything that goes on.
