I keep a lot of inexpensive art materials in my studio simply for the grandkids to play with. When I purchased this set, I knew I was not getting "top quality". I was getting an inexpensive gouache the kids could play with. I can play with it too, if I want.. That said, even for "inexpensive" materials, these aren't very good. As other reviewers have said, the pigment separates into "globs" that are difficult to mix. I don't find the colors especially "vibrant" nor is the paint as opaque as I would like. But, again, I knew what I was getting when I purchased the set. I did, indeed, get what I paid for -- a cheap set to play with, so the grandkids will have fun without me worrying about them wasting or ruining good quality art materials.If you're a beginner with gouache, you might be tempted to purchase a set like this since it is so inexpensive. Please, don't. You'll find it difficult to learn how to use gouache with a lower-quality set like this.

These are decent paints but you are truly getting what you pay for. The colors are nice but my biggest problem is they are not as opaque as good gouache paint should be. If you are new to gouache paint they are great to practice with. You can get the feel for how fast gouache dries and the matte finish. But it’s impossible to use the white and not see what you’ve already painted behind it. For instance, you cannot come back in and add clouds on top of your sky, or white foam on the edge of a wave. It just does not have the coverage. In those instances it’s more like painting with watercolors. I will use this paint for small paintings and to practice with but I will not be purchasing again.

It is a good value for beginners.

The product arrived on time and was as described! The colors are very vibrant and pretty. The gouche quality is pretty good, though it does take a little more water than usual to get that sheer quality I expect of gouche. Not as much as a problem as it could be especially considering the price!

The gouache came out of the tubes super liquidy. There was chunks of pigment separated from the binder. The gouache was not opaque at all. My Windsor and Newton watercolors have better coverage. I would not recommend even for beginners.

They colours very nice to paint with it easy soft not like dry colours very nice would buy again

I think these are good value, great range of colours, but the viscosity of the paints is not consistent within the range, with some thick and some runny. Therefore some are a bit watery and do not give the flatness of colour and texture that I would expect from higher quality gouache. But I would not expect that from this price range. I am happy and have been able to achieve some nice results.
