The Moody Blues Collection

I'm a 63 year old male who grew up during some very interesting musical times. Once Justin Hayward joined the Moody Blues, and it is he who has written, and composed most of their music, this drew me into their music above all else, and it did so to the point wherewith I can recite 100% the lyrics of all of their top hits and then some. This collection is missing some of the lyrics as performed. I did not buy this for its lyrical content alone. IF anybody desires the full lyrical content, you will be disappointed with this publication. I've improved and have hand written in the missing lyrics.

As a Moody Blues fan, I was looking forward to getting guitar sheet music to several of the songs that I've enjoyed in the past. I've been somewhat disappointed in the guitar chords provided in this book as some of the music that I've obtained from on-line free sources seem to be more accurate. Additionally, I'm disappointed that may song introductions and instrumental interludes are not contained in this collection. This book is probably better for piano than guitar.

For those of us who grew up listening to such great bands as The Moody Blues, it is wonderful to see that scores of their music are still available for purchase. I found this to be a really accurate play book for guitar. Glad I found this on Amazon. Some great songs in here .If you like The Moody Blues and want a good book to learn some tunes, try this one. I think you'll like it. Has all the good songs! Good arrangements. A little hard to play.

Recently became a Moody Blues FAN after rediscovering them. Will buy anything related to the group. Item as described. Very good seller.

I was pleasantly surprised that this was a Cheat Book of the Moodies Music...Now I have to get my Piano tuned.

I like this book and it's been my go to music to play since I have had itThe Moody's music is interesting to play with several parts to most songs with some interesting harmoniesCouple of songs I would have liked to be included would be blue guitar .Out and in . And candle of life .wouid have preferred these over the more guitar based songs in the book like ride my see saw .However a nice book and at last I have mastered New Horizons after trying to play it by ear for years

Good range of their classic material. With such a prolific talent people are always going to say " if only such and such a song was in it" but this is as far as im aware the best available selection currently.

Great collection of songs, mostly for my acoustic guitar playing this but it's a fine addition to the collection.

An OK book but, given the shortage of Moodies songbooks, the range is not so good.
