I have bought this product repeatedly for use in modelling, primarily using it on plastic. Creates a great rusty finish and adheres well, even without a primer coat. Spray is good and strong right down to the end of the can. It is quite expensive for only a small 200ml can, but worth the money in my opinion, particularly for smaller jobs. Just make sure you shake well before use. Also, cans always arrive in working order - I have bought other brands of spray paint from Amazon and, on occasion, they have arrived and, for one reason or another, have not worked or have required a great dealing of coxing to get anything out...

Great colour, easy to use

I wanted a comfy desk chair in my guest room and could find any mint ones, but happened to have an old grey one (from Habitat I think) that was actually a bit mouldy from life in the shed. Quick wipe with a dry cloth (although I could have cleaned it with acetone if I was being sensible and not overkeen) and three light coats (which was nearly the whole can). I used a cool hairdryer to settle each coat, and had it painted within a couple of hours. To my surprise it actually worked?! The vinyl is still flexible, absolutely no cracking and I gave it 24hrs before sitting on it- no flaking or transfer 🤷🏽‍♀️ For whatever reason the back of the chair feels very slightly tacky, but I think it just needs time to cure. It’ll probably be bombproof in a week or so I imagine. If I’m wrong I’ll come back and update the review.I used an enamel spray on the base as they’d rusted a bit. I don’t think this paint would have worked. I did use the remnants of this can on a mesh basket to go on the bureau and it covered ok but would need two fine coats on painted metal.

Seems fine. Will see how hard wearing it is.

I used this gold spray on a Client's old chrome kitchen door handles with a primer as the background. The result speaks for itself and although took a few coats as by spec. Finish is immaculate. Will definitely use again. 👍

The bad review with the video on here is incorrect. The date on the tin is in mm/yy format so the can in the video actually runs out in July 2031. The cans require a seal to be removed from under the spray nozzle before they will work- handy safety feature if you’re like me and tend to lose lids! Found paint covered well on some ugly tiles, exposed piping and a loo seat in my cloakroom makeover.

I do want to say that this is extremely strong smelling paint , I used it to paint a few artificial decorations but I have not been able to put them back into the living room because of the smell, it has made us all have headaches and nausea..
