Hosa MHE-105 3.5 mm TRS to 3.5 mm TRS Headphone Extension Cable, 5 Feet

For me, Hosa is the "go-to" company for all of these little cables and couplers that make your audio life better. I play on our Church's worship team, and this was just the thing to give me a little extra room when I plug my in ear monitors into the Church's monitor system. It's lightweight, inexpensive and just does the job. The only downside for me is the plugs and jacks are molded onto the cable (keeps the cost down), so they're not repairable if the internal connections break. If you plug/unplug them by grasping the plugs/jacks instead of pulling on the cable inself (as you should with any cable, anyway) you should find these to be very serviceable.

Low cost, durable and totally transparent sound.Good quality cable that has a nice thick sheath and chunky connectors and is more flexible than you'd expect from a cable at this price.I have a ton of various cables and adapters from Hosa and they've all been excellent!

This 3.5mm extension cord was definitely a good buy. Functional at a reasonable price.My only negative is that the male connector end of the extension cord would not fully seat into the female end of my sound wire. A connection was made however, and the sound from my TV was transmitted. I would have given a 5 star rating if I had gotten a full "click", indicating a solid, tight connection.

Always had good luck with HOSA cables, although the quality "feels" cheap at times like this cable, still works as expected.

This cable is sturdy and well-shielded for something in this price range, but if you have decent headphones and care about sound quality, it's best to look elsewhere. There's a noticeable dip in sound quality when you use it: the sound stage flattens, the highs dull, and the lows lose their fullness. If you're just listening to talk and need a little more length for your headphones, though, it's probably a good choice.

I like this brand of cable. They are good quality heavy-duty stereo cables, well shielded (spiral is better than foil), and do a decent job of rejecting EMI over short runs for PC microphone applications.

Started shorting out after less than a year.

They work very well. I am glad I got the 2ft cord and not the 5 or 10 ft cord.

I use this to extend the range of my headphones from my laptop, works ok except that occasionally when I plug them in I have to twist the plug a bit to get it to pick up both channels. These headphones also have the inline volume control & microphone which does NOT work with this extension.
