It's advertised as 50W max but on the product it also says "LED MAX 6W". I realise that represents an equivalent brightness but I thought there'd be a more flexibility, with the lower wattage of LEDs... I've since tried it with 2, 4, 8 and 10 watt bulbs and despite getting too hot with the 8W, the perhaps better quality 10W bulb didn't get much warmer than the 4W so I'm in a mind to just go by feel.Piece of standard connector block underneath, 3 terminals for the mains input - the earth wire just connects to the outside metal shell and that does seem to be the qualifying factor - if a light fitting has no outer metal that can be touched, then I don't think it needs to be earthed. This one does.

The spotlights were perfect for this slightly retro look I’m trying to create they’re really well-made the only caveat I would say is the bulbs are actually quite difficult to put in they provide a little sucker to help - but it takes a little practice but worth it though!

Spotlight was of very poor quality, the casing was very thin metal abs was easily crushed in transit with little resistance from the item itself.Would not recommend this.

Needed to replace some old coloured spot lights and these were ideal.

Very easy to fit. It looks simple but smart. It cannot generate a flood of light with a single GU10 bulb but is perfect to spotlight a picture or a painting.
