Westmark Germany Multipurpose Stainless Steel Wire Egg Slicer (Grey)

I had to throw away my cute but impractical egg slicer and therein created a quest for something much more useful. I found it!This egg slicer is sturdy. The wire cuts easily through even my hard boiled duck eggs and does not get caught in the metal of the slicer (happened all the time with cute but impractical). It is easy to clean and worth every penny.I would recommend this egg slicer to anyone who enjoys a sliced egg on their mixed green salad or in a sandwich or just as a healthy snack.

Finally, an egg slicer that lasts. Much better quality. The wires stay firmly straight, nothing has broken. Well worth it.

Recently, I started using more and more boiled eggs to add to salads, etc., and since I'm basically a very lazy cook, I started looking for an egg slicer. I looked a quite a few cheaper plastic ones, but decided to spend a bit more for this stainless steel one, with the premise that it would probably last longer.This is a really good quality slicer. Since it's stainless steel, it should last a long, long time. I haven't sliced anything but eggs with it so far, but it does a great job with them. It's very easy to clean, and it does what it's supposed to do. Therefore, I highly recommend it.

The headline says it all. Cuts cleanly on eggs and mushrooms. No shoddy plastic parts and easy to use, clean and dry. Worth every penny and should last for years.

I bought another brand, actually a favorite, famous brand that I love. It was plastic and lasted 3 weeks until the wires broke. I looked around and found the Westmark. All metal, much stronger wires, rock solid in every way. The Westmark works perfectly and feels like it will last for years.

Sturdy. Simple to clean. Easy to use due to the length. Cuts well. Only disappointment is that the size suits size large eggs or smaller. Have used it to slice hard boiled eggs, ripened bananas, & strawberries w/o problems.

Love this brand Westmark and their egg slicers. Bought two types, the other is the wedge slicer for salads. On this one, I slice a boiled egg two times by flipping the slices to make egg salad sandwiches. Slices like butter, so easy to clean and fun to use. I don't write reviews often, but I love this brand and haven't been disappointed with other purchases.

The main reason I purchased this egg slicer was to slice mushrooms, and I have to say, I am NOT disappointed! Hopefully, this slicer will hold up over time, but so far, so good :)

We bought a cheap plastic egg slicer on amazon to replace one that broke on us - what a mistake going with the cheapest option - cheap plastic slicer that broke on the first boiled egg. I then searched for the best, and I think I found it. WOW... this thing is a beast. Sturdy, heavy duty, metal cutting strings are super strong. I think I will be able to pass this down to my grandchildren! Amazing product.Next time I need any kitchen tool, I will definitely buy from Westmark!

Endlich mal ein vernünftiger Eierschneider!Ich weiß nicht wie viele Eierschneider ich schon hatte, die auch relativ teuer waren, aber schnell im Müll gelandet sind. Die Drähte hatten sich verbogen, haben sich gelöst oder sind gerissen und die Verletzungsgefahr war groß!Dieser Westmark Eierschneider ist solide verarbeitet und sehr robust, für alle Eiergrößen geeignet und schneidet sauber in perfekte Scheiben... so wie es sein soll. Schade, dass ich ihn erst jetzt entdeckt habe! :-)

I was utterly fed up with buying and throwing away egg slicers that failed in their duty. I decided to go for this one, which has a cast body that will not bend and catch on the wires. It is incredibly robust, and my only criticism is that is not dishwasher proof, as aluminium and dishwashers do not go well together. Stainless steel, and it would have been PERFECT. Buy once, at a fairly high price, but never have to buy another, rather than repeatedly buying, and tossing, cheap ones.
