The Alien Adventures of Finn Caspian #1: The Fuzzy Apocalypse

Our family loves the podcast so much and we were so excited to get our copy of this book. Our daughter loves to pick this book to read at night.

My kids and I are listening to the podcasts. We're a few years behind still but Jonathan just mentioned books coming out and we were thrilled to find them available (and that they're separate from the podcasts). My kids (9 and 7) are quickly reading through them. We are a Finn Caspian fan family! These are great!

First, disclosure: I am friends with the author from wayback, but I did *not* get the book for free. I knew he had an award-winning kids' podcast and figured this book would be good for my 1st grader. Boy was that true! We devoured this chapter book with illustrations over the course of three evening storytimes, and she's already asked to start the second in the series. It has a great mix of adventure, suspense, wacky aliens, dangerous hot lava and heroic robot stuff that my kid loved. The layer of storytelling about friendship and conflict resolution was something that I loved. A super-diverse cast of characters also helped us feel at home in the story. Highly recommended, I've already bought the second one.

We love the Finn Caspian podcast show and we’re thrilled to see that Jonathan Messenger has started publishing graphic novels. I’m sure he has lots of help from his editor, Griffin, and intern, Emerson, and BeBop probably interrupted a lot 😂It’s been reread several times since purchased and they are already asking for more!

I'm a librarian, and I'm thrilled to see these great stories come to the page. They are great readers, and it's really fun that they are also graphic novels.Our son is loving these books, and he cannot wait for more! We love how thoughtful and exciting they are, and that he is excited to read them aloud as well. The illustrations, while very different in style from the podcast cover art, are really sweet and cute and goofy. I think this helps to keep it light. Bravo!

Our boys are huge fans of The Alien Adventures of Finn Caspian podcast and boy do we loves these new books!!! We got the first two for Christmas and they are just as good if not better than the podcast. Thanks to Jonathan for putting our favorite adventurers in a book!!!!

We are so happy with these books. My children LOVE the Podcast and when we heard there were books coming out, we were ecstatic. A great read and a fun family activity to read together, just like when we listen to the podcast together.

My 6 year old granddaughter got books one and two for Christmas. She read them quickly and re-read them a couple of times. She read book three, cover to cover, in one afternoon - huge Finn Caspian fan!
