Very disappointed
After reading the very positive reviews for these dryer balls, I was very disappointed in their performance. I use 3 of the balls at a time, and the static in clothes after they are dried is awful. Also, I haven't noticed a reduction in drying time. I've gone back to using dryer sheets.

Wool dryer balls
Didn't really notice a difference....maybe a little softer? Drying time didn't really change either. Not a fan of the wool dryer balls.

Simply the Best!
These wool-felted dryer balls are fantastic! I am very allergic to the synthetic balls and decide to try these instead. What a find. They work great, have no smell, don't tear up your clothes, and make very little sound. And they do indeed cut dryer time. After purchasing these, I also tried another brand of wool dryer ball but they were not made as well and were too soft to do the job. These balls are lightweight but dense enough to do the job so I purchased 3 more of these. Love them.

Good Theory Bad Result
In general what is said about a felted wool ball is more a theory than a probability. I started off using two plastic dryer balls and was saving five and 10 minutes per load, so when ai read about the yeas and nays when comparing 'natural' wool balls to plastic it made sense so I ordered some online and tried them, sadly they are nay.... Tops I may be getting five minutes less out of them on small loads and gaining nothing on most other loads by having to turn the machine back on to finish the job, and I'm using six balls at a time! What's really annoying is the balls get stuck somewhere or other in the cloths and come flying out when taking the cloths out of the dryer, not so with the plastic ones. Yes they are somewhat less noisy, though the plastic ones quiet down quickly and stay quiet. The other annoyance was after the first load of super white towels. The white lint stuck to the hairs on the balls and made them look like a Kleenex had been left in the dryer and they still do! Now they look awful, I cannot imagine them lasting 'years' as proclaimed. Finally they cost way more, do way less. And this is for all dryer balls not just the ones I bought. The ones I bought are well made, but do not do their job.

dryer balls
I believe these do make a subtle difference discouraging wrinkles at low heat or air dry.Enjoyed ordering something made in the US. This vendor is committed to low impact activities - her packing material is recycled, even the box is a turned-inside-out CFL box. Neat.

These are awesome. No more wasting my money on Fortune 500 ...
These are awesome. No more wasting my money on Fortune 500 poisoned dryer sheets. My clothes are never staticky, I'm never short on sheets, I save a ton, and no contributing to my allergies.

wool dryer balls
These wool balls are so much quieter then the others we had. I love them. The others used to drive me nuts with the constant banging.
