Great axe
I’m a little bummed that the handle had clearly been chipped and glued back together but overall is a great axe. So far the part that was glued hasn’t come apart but if I’m paying for a new axe it should look like a new axe.

Poor packaging, no packaging at all in the box.
Product is great.Very poor packaging inside box; actually, no packaging at all.

Quality of a $30 axe. Not a $100 axe.
The weight feels good. It throws well. And I like it. However, not worth the price tag. I have $30 axes that are just as good and have better quality control. Mine came with weird scratching on the blade. I dont care about light scratching, I throw the axe so it gets beat up, but these are weird deep groves that will show for a long time despite sharpening. A new axe of this price should show up nice. Handle also has scratching. For $100, I expect better. Now I will have to polish it myself and clean up the handle.

Decent axe but needed work
It's a nice axe but i had to put alot of work into redoing the blade profile and sharpen it. If you're trying to decide on which axe to buy the corporal is an awesome axe.. and the ace of spades is also a great choice

The professionals use it, so there you go.
This is exactly what I wanted. For a axe throwing beginner it sure did feel right. It's well balanced and nice and sharp. I'm sticking this on the target almost every time. I bought a second one.

Great axe
Great axe I use it for my local axe throwing league.Only complaint was the edge was a bit thin and got nicked up a bit at first. But for the almost daily amount I use it, it’s probably my favorite axe.

Another WATL axe bites the dust!!
I knew I was taking a gamble on this thing being defective but I took a chance and it was indeed defective.I threw it about 10 times at home, all good. Took it to the league that evening, threw it about 5 times and the handle was lose at the head.It had at least a quarter inch "back and fourth" play in it which is unacceptable for ANY thrower, but when it's sold and produced by the premier axe throwing league in the world it is especially frustrating and egregious!WATL brags that their products are the best on the market for throwing. I suppose if you have the patience to find a "good one" by going through several of them, but for over $100 that really shouldn't be necessary. My $38 Coldsteel Competition Thrower is a MUCH better option. Hundreds of throws later, it's still going strong. In all fairness to WATL, not every single unit they produce is defective. I do know several guys who own a few of these things and they work well, but the quality control is very inconsistent. You basically have to go through 2 or 3 until you find a "good one" and I'm just not up for that kind of safari for a throwing axe

WATL wouldn't do anything about a defective handle
I will not buy another item from WATL if they don't replace the defective handle of the axe...it came with a chunk of wood out of the handle and after many emails they just refuse to replace the handle.
