France Luxe Handmade French Twist Comb, Tortoise

I bought this a while back so have now used it many, many times. It's absolutely amazing. France Luxe hair accessories are the best. Yes, it is plastic (thick plastic) but I've never had a France Luxe clip, pic, hair fork, barrette, or this French Twist comb break. I can't find these in a local store so always bought France Luxe items in Nordstrom's when I traveled. This comb works exactly like it is supposed to. My hair is about waist length, but not terribly thick. I follow the directions for use (France Luxe had a video on their web site you can view). I use a couple plastic hair pins to tuck loose hair at the bottom and the top of the twist and voila! My hair stays put in the twist from 7 AM in the morning until I remove it at bedtime. I've never used a better tool for a French Twist.

I love this comb. I love this company. This comb is super easy to use. Grab your hair into a pony tail, twist it up, take the comb, using hte backside rake across the hair slide it over and tuck. Perfect french twist every time. It is a little pricey - however - I bought a cheaper comb and the first time I used it the teeth broke. I bought a slightly more expensive comb, the first time I used it the teeth bent. I have fairly fine to medium hair, wavy. It shouldn't have happened. This comb - again and again awesome. With cheaper combs you can only tuck the comb into the french twist with this comb you can use it like a hair comb to make a nice tight elegant french twist. I have two of them - guilty indulgence. Two stars for beauty. It’s lovely but does not hold hair. Prongs are stiff and point is blunt.. doesn’t grab hair. Once it is in it works out in a short time. I unfortunately purchased 2 of them.

I've tried loads of hair gadgets. This comb is awesome, in that it holds my thick, somewhat wavy hair securely in a French Twist style, all day long at a hot, windy outdoor dog show - without requiring extra hair spray, bobby pins, or anything else! Far thicker than some copycat designs in flimsy plastic, I can envision this comb lasting for years. This does a better job of holding up my hair than even ponytail scrunchies or big claw clips. I'm saving up for another one in a different color; this one looks very much like mother of pearl or abalone, without shades of blue or green. Classy and amazing!

I ordered this comb over a year and a half ago. I have very very thick curly course hair and on bad hair days, humid days, this is my go to. I do a french twist which just this one comb holds tightly ALL day. It's not the least expensive hair accessory I've ever purchase, and goodness knows I've purchased quite a few to help me out, but this is money very well spent.

I love this comb! It holds my hair well (I have long thick hair) in a french twist and looks polished perfection every time. I would not want sharper teeth or anything different. Look up on u tube for easy instructions to create perfect twist for short or long hair. This is the most expensive accessory I have ever bought and worth every penny!

$34 seemed like a lot of money to spend on a hair comb, but I finally got sick of wasting money every month on cheap combs that either break or don't hold my thick curly hair. As soon as I opened the package, I was happy with my purchase. The comb is absolutely beautiful and does the best job of any comb I've ever found at keeping my hair in place. It's very sturdy and well made and I fully expect to get years of use out of this comb. I'll be ordering more soon.

This hair comb stands up to daily use when other, cheaper brands did not. I have long, fine curly hair and gave it 4 stars because it slips more than other combs I've tried. I might have to throw my hair up 4x/day rather than 2x. Well worth the price considering I won't have to replace it every time I turn around.
