The meter indicator moves. Hard to tell accuracy, therefore, I have no real issues

Absolutely does not work. The instructions call for you to wet the probes and submerge them into a soup of your soil mixture. No matter what conditions i provided for it the needles do not move at all. The product feels cheap and junky. Opening the case reveals it is cheap and junky. The rods are soldered to a wire that goes to the mechanical display. The solder joints look like crap and i expect if you move any of the rods too much those solder joints will break. Not like it matters anyways because again this product does nothing. I returned this product to go with the traditional ph tester kits where you shake it up in a bottle. I was just hoping for something easier and this company completely fails to provide that.

This meter seems to be working very well. I am getting good reading from it and the ph reading appear to be accurate as the plants are responding accordingly.

I agree. It came with the probes shaken out of the meter and the box open from being crushed by another item in the package. Not a good sign. I replaced the rods and polished the right one, soaked my soil and then tested various potted plants from new pots to old, probably over fertilized pots. Every one measured 6.8-7.0 and lacking nutrients. Doesn't make any sense.I then tried straight peat moss that should rate as strongly acidic. Same readings as year old top soil. It's going back.

It always seems to read 7.1 on the pH setting, and always "add more" on the fertilizer setting. I've followed the directions of making a "soup" from the soil and distilled water. And I'm virtually certain that my soil is a little on the acidic side (i.e. 6 range) due to a lot of pine trees on the property, dropping acidic needles. And I know for a fact that my veggie garden is very adequately fertilized (perhaps too much). In short, this thing doesn't seem to work at all for either purpose. Complete waste of money.

Item works great. We used it in a vegetable bed that has not had any amendments done to in it over 4 years. According to this soil tester all that the bed needed was some fertilizer. We have since planted many plants and everything is doing great. Thank you so much for an accurate tester. This seems to work much better than the many that I have purchased in the past.
