Super solid - used on 10spd works well
didn't count my cassette gears, but this one still works well with sram components.

Must be paired Microshift Advent shifter
Bought Microshift derailleur and shifter to accommodate my 9 speed 11-46t cassette. Works great. It's all I need for my 1x9 mtb.

microShift is the real deal
I’m constantly surprised with this company. I brought an old steel frame back to life with this system. Purchased the entire drivetrain. Blow away with the crisp shifting and range. The value is amazing.

Works perfect for 46 tooth cassette
Looked for a derailer that works with 9 speed 46 tooth. Well this was the one I was looking for! Bought the shifter to match. Very minimal adjustments. Also, I paired the components with the sunrace 46 tooth cassette. Has a great clutch. Can't wait to ride some trails and see how it performs

Great solid part that works as expected
Easy to install and feels like a solid and well engineered product. Much sturdier than the plastic part I had to replace after only a week. I have micro shift derailleur and shifters and Shimano cassette and they all work together nicely - recommended

Not suitable for older steel frame bikes
I have a 2008 Salsa Fargo, first model year, that I’ve owned since it came out. I’ve always ran a Shimano drive train and been very happy with it but was intrigued by the clutch capabilities of this derailleur and the reasonable price. There is , however, a major design flaw with the b-limit screw. On older steel frame bikes, like the Fargo, the washer style plate will not contact the tab, or stop, for the b-screw on the derailleur hanger.Removal and attempts to bend the washer were futile and rendered it a non-returnable item.A local bike mechanic came up with an ingenious fix and took a cable/housing adjustment off another derailleur and screwed it in from the inside giving it an adjustment, albeit from the inside, and the housing casing would contact the tab on the hanger allowing a stop for the b-screw.Set up with a Microshift thumb shifter and with the clutch engaged no more chain slap.A nice system and reasonably priced but be warned, the smaller tabs are a no go, at least on the older Fargos.
