Q: My cat needs this but hates to take due to bitterness. Are these bitter?

I don't know if these are bitter--we take them and swallow whole with water. They are small enough and easily break up and could probably be put in some tuna or other fishy food to mask the taste. Or, buy a pill shooter (Amazon sells them), and mix with some olive oil or cream and give to cat that way. Or, the vet might have liquid allergy meds that are flavored.

Q: You show "active ingredients antihistamine, fexofenadine, loratadine". why, when contents are chlorpheniramine maleate?

Looks like a mislabeling situation, possibly due to who ever wrote the amazon description not having English as their first language. I was asked to answer this question as I bought this product a while ago for my Wife to use. I searched for chlorpheniramine maleate and found this was the least expensive available. This product is what Coricidin used to be before they started adding a decongestant and or cough suppressant to it. I guess the company that made Coricidin had their patent expire as this was medicine I took as a child well over 50 years ago. The reason I got it for my Wife is she has high blood pressure and can not take allergy medicine that has a decongestant in it. This medicine can and will cause drowsiness so I do not recommend taking it and operating a car or other machinery unless you have tried it and are aware of its effects.
