I'm Not Ready! (Baby Owl)

We love the Baby Owl books! My 4.5 year old and almost 3 year old both enjoy them, and my 9 month old baby even seems to like the illustrations. They manage to pack a lot of fun into a quick read; I can't read these without smiling. This story line in "I'm Not Ready!" was cute and relatable to my preschool-aged kids. We started with "I'm Not Sleepy!" and have added a few more over the years and will continue to buy more.

We have sleepy baby owl- which is a fan favorite in my house so I decided to try another in the series.. this isn’t nearly as good.

Another one in the series, I wonder if it has made our child more standoff ish and argumentative, (laughing but not laughing).But she loves this book, and the others with the baby owl.

Not as catchy or as fluid as the "I'm not sleepy" book (which is our favorite of the series). Sons loves them all though.

Bought this book for my son who was very nervous about going to preschool. At first he didn't like it because he realized that baby owl was acting just like him. However, once he started enjoying school he has been enjoying the book more and even tries to read it himself.

Another great book! We come across baby owl 'I'm not cute' via a book start pack. When my four year old was given a book start pack before starting school this year it had ' I'm not reading', which became a new favourite. I then realised there must be a collection of them and found them on Amazon. I could also read the Authors short biography which was nice to see. My two youngest boys now have all the baby owl books that we believe are on sale. They have just received this one and it had them in the fits of giggles. My four year old is taking his books in to school, as they are being reading class 'I'm not reading'. The school love seeing his new additions. My two year old loves to sleep with the baby owl books in his bed. Theses stories are the best! We having many so called 'popular books'... but Baby owl wins now matter what. I have to say I enjoy reading so much more as a parent when reading these books to my boys. It is lovely to see Mum and Dad used within as well (not just mum!), my Husband is enjoying reading the story's to them (he was normally very reluctant). Baby owl is now a bed time routine story. Just a shame there is no baby owl cuddly toy to purchase as my boys would love there own Baby owl and perhaps a Tiny chick ;-)

This book is great! My grand-daughter loves this book, in fact loves the series and when going to bed she loves to TURN OVER THE PAGES! and she is only 15 months old. She loves her books. I think the delivery time, the colours and print and pictures inside of these books are just great. The service is good and the condition of the books is just marvelous. Fully recommend.

My 3 year old son loves these books. We originally got it from our local library and he missed it so much when it had to be returned that I bought him it. He loves listening to it before bed and tries to read it back too. The illustrations are lovely as are the stories themselves.
