Very good service. On time, and well packaged. As expected.I am giving 3 stars because I wasn't aware of the texture of the brush fibers. In the description it says that they can be used for Acrylic and Oil paint as well. I think they are too soft for oil paint- reason for which I bought for.Other than that, I like the brushes after all.

The photo of the product shows 4 brushes- even the photo attached to my 'order history' shows 4. You actually get 3 brushes. I clearly didn't read the description carefully enough though why anyone would depict 4 brushes per package in a photo for 3 brushes per package beats me. It's misleading. However the quality of the THREE brushes is quite good.

the largest brush hasn't had much use yet, and it's already loose in the ferrule. It looks like it was put together with some sticky tape or something.

Liked this companies older version. These don’t carry as much water or rinse clean as easily

These shed bristles more than any brush in my collection. Would hardly consider "professional." Still, they are usable for jobs that might compromise my more expensive brushes.5-29-16 I'm not sure why my last update didn't post, but I'll try again. I upgraded this from 3 to 5 stars because I was contacted by the seller asking for my permission to replace the so-so brushes with an upgraded version, no strings attached. If I felt so moved, she asked it I would update my post. I am happy to do so. I used the new version at a Jo Toye workshop yesterday and I am happy to say they are a vast improvement. No stray bristles on my painting. I am also impressed with the customer service and effort to improve. I would now recommend these as a good value brush.

I was impressed at first.I used the larger one to varnish a few paintings, then the medium one, which was ok. The brush rattles around a bit in the handle, but it didn't actually fall off. However, I unwrapped the smaller one today to use, and the brush fell completely OUT OF THE HANDLE.It's really too bad, because the bristles are really nice for varnishing

Unfortunately when I used the 3 inch brush for the first time, it was losing its bristles on my canvas. Granted I was using a thick acrylic application, though have not had that happen with other brushes when using them the first time.Then I want to use the 1.5 inch brush, it did not lose bristles though when I went to clean it, the head of the brush came off from the handle. I never had this happen before.

I bought these to use with AS chalk paint to achieve a smooth(er) finish on furniture pieces and these do an excellent job! Excellent quality- have used and washed them several times so far and haven't lost a single bristle.
