Messina Wildlife Plotsaver Deer 1 Gallon,PS-C-128

I bought this knowing it wasn't going to be a 100% solution (meaning would keep all deer off the plot) and it lived up to expectations. I used it around 2 dove plots - sunflowers and millet to keep deer from destroying them before the season. While there was some damage of deer jumping the "fence" it was relatively minimal (~5% loss). Another sign it worked was there was no browsing the edges (near the plot saver tape) and in the past, those would get heavily browsed. Again, not a perfect solution but did its job.

Worked great when I first used it in the spring, but now its fall and the deer cleaned out my beds not necessarily a bad thing I had to clear beds for winter but having a few flowers in the fall is nice. Did notice during the summer they had ate off some marigold flowers. I thought they didn't like them, well I guess I'm wrong on that one. So I think if you reapply once a month or so it should work. Going to try that next year!

Wasted money did not work at all. Spent over $200 for nothing plus a hell of a lot of work.

I live next to a large tract of Army Corp of Engineers land so we have a LOT of deer. They live in the Corp land but come onto our property to escape the hunters. I've used Plotsaver for the last two years. My garden is surrounded by a 6' fence. The deer were jumping the fence and using my garden as their local McDonalds. I have one strand of the Plotsaver on the fence about 3' high. I use a hand held sprayer and spray the tape about once every two weeks. Since the tape is up and sprayed, the deer have left the garden alone. It doesn't smell great but it works so I'll put up with the minor smell for keeping the deer away. Highly recommend it.
