Pure Heart: Restoration of the Heart through the Beatitudes

Tom and Donna have put together a great book using the Beatitudes to walk through wounds of the heart and how God in His endless love wants to walk us through healing. Through their vulnerability in sharing their journeys and restoration, they demonstrate Gods compassion and desire for each one of us to know Him better. I received the book this summer, read through it and knew I had to share it. We have been going through it in women’s small groups and it has definitely been a great tool for becoming more vulnerable about past hurts and opening the wounds to clean them out and allow God to heal them as only He can. Thank you Tom and Donna for sharing what God has and is doing through you!!!

Finally a book that touches on the Father heart of God like no other. A must read for those who need a revelation of God's love for us all.

I have the pleasure of knowing Tom and Donna Cole personally! I went through the pure heart program along with the book! It was of most impactful programs and books I have encountered. I don't feel you even have to be Christian to get an impact from it. I have gone through several years of cognitive behavioral therapy and the book is well in line with those practices. It provides actual application that makes the process of healing reachable. My advice is to not just read the book once. Like Tom says consider your healing journey like an onion: Get pissed, cry, shed a layer, go deeper, repeat. The program along with the book is highly recommended. That way you have a facilitator.

I have utilized the truths in this book personally Pastorally and professional. I have found that the writer stories involving truth and love show mercy and grace to those that are hurting. I believe this book is a great resource for anyone who was walking their own spiritual journey Or assisting others along the way. I love the way that Tom and Donna integrate God’s healing power in their lives as displayed in the Gospels. This book is a must for any faith integrated Pastor professional counselor or Ministry person to help find peace not only in their own lives but also to pass it forward

Pure Heart is an excellent read. It’s easy to read to where you can grasp the concepts that are written in this book. Pure Heart walks you through ways to properly navigate your heart, and the wounds and scars that you may have experienced throughout life. I love how everything in this book is not only through personal story, but it is also scripturally based throughout each chapter. I highly recommend this book to ministry leaders, couples for their marriage, singles.. basically EVERYONE. YOU SHOULD BUY THIS BOOK!

Seriously impactful and relevant for anybody. The authors don’t just write this stuff but live it out. They’ve helped me and countless people I know. I’d encourage anyone to read this if they’re interested in being more free and seeing God’s love impact the personal parts of their hearts and minds.
