Right size for what we want to use for salad, soup, mixed fruits. First I bought the bigger size but it was too big for us. I returned and bought these which smaller. Thank you.

These seem to be the same thickness and weight of traditional Corelle (vitrelle) and made in USA, but one measurement is wrong: they are 3" high. The reason I gave them 4 stars, not 5, is the colored stripe around the rim is really coarse. I meant to order 1 quart bowls, not 2 quart, so I'm returning them - but if you don't care about a stripe around the top, you can find plain Corelle Vitrelle bowls made in USA for a much lower price.

I really like the size of these serving bowls. The price was fair for what I purchased.I am not sure about the blue band around the top. I would have preferred plain white.The band looks a little like I drew it. These are fine for every day but I wouldn’t use it with company.

I bought these to replace a very similar bowl that I had recently broken. They match a couple of older porcelean blue ring plates we love. These bowls are pretty, elegant and useful. Very nice.However the bad news is that they are more fragile than they advertize and they cost about 40-60% more than they should.I knew they were expensive and I paid the $40, anyway because I wanted the blue rings. I'll baby them.I can't recommend these bowls due to the fact they just aren't worth $20 each without a lifetime breakage guarantee.

These are excellent dishware.

My soup bowls were just too small for a salad bowl, these are the perfect height and width and easy to clean. I love a good salad with lots of fixins for dinner and these bowls are an awesome size to make and blend all the salad goodies.

It is nice to find an old traditional product that is still living up to its long established standards.The bowls were as described. Larger than I expected, but the measurements were correct, so the problem was with my mental picture of that size. I think it is going to work out as the next size down would not be large enough.It will be nice to have some light-weight serving pieces to go with my unfortunately thick and heavy dinnerware from another manufacturer.This makes me think that if I ever decide to replace my dinnerware, I might go with Corelle.

Love these bowls for runny meals like spaghetti, stew, soups etc. as they are the perfect size as you don’t have to worry about spills. Easy to clean as the bonus.
