Mons Peak IX Trekking Poles Universal Carbide Tips (2-Pack)

One of these broke just poling. They are cheap though and easy to replace. I'll try another brand if I break another one.Update : broke a second one two days after replacing the first broken one. Again, just poleing getting off the chairlift.

As advertised, easy to install.

I thought these replacement tip were quite good until one of them bent during a hike today. I used the new tips on about 6 hikes before one bent. Luckily I didn't have my weight depend on it hiking. Now I have to contact Amazon for a credit.

Didn’t fit my Black Diamond trekking poles. Have ordered for another brand in past and they worked, but not my Black Diamonds!

These tips have a bigger ID than Black Diamond or LEKI tips. My black diamond contour poles bottomed out in the Mons Peak tips and I glued the Mons Peak tips on with marine goop. This means I have no flex tip function. The Mons Peak quality is not as good as the original tips. But then the black diamond replacement tips are not what they used to be. The matching basket gave me the impression that it would come off easily. So I used a small amount of marine goop to secure it. Since I use my poles in both winter and summer the tips only seem last one season now.

I had a heck of a time removing the tips of my Trail Buddy poles, but putting on these tips was simple. They held up well on a recent hike, and I'll probably buy another set to keep as an emergency spare in the future.

Still working well after a few months and easy to install on my wife's hiking pole. It could be cheaper in my opinion though.
