SIZE IS LARGER THAN ADVERTISED, BUY SMALLER AND IT WILL WORK GREAT
I'm really glad I read the reviews on these. I needed a 3mm cord for my Stihl MS250 chainsaw and I was looking at the chainsaw cord at first. Everyone said it was too fat and hard to push through, then one guy showed that the 3mm cord was actually 4-4.5mm and recommended the "String Trimmer 2.5mm" cord instead. I followed the advise and got this one and sure enough, it was about 3.25mm - 3.5mm and not 2.5mm.The cord is great, the only reason I give it lower stars is because the size is grossly mis advertised and makes it difficult for people not doing extensive homework on the product. Just change your advertisement for the actual size and I'll have no problem giving a better rating!

Better than what you get on a new weedeater.
Very tough cord. Fitted it to my weedeater- it is a lot less flexible than the original when new out of the packaging and also can be a bit fiddly to thread onto the spool. With traditional plastic cords I was sued to heating the end with a flame and compressing the cord together into a lump that is much easier to pass through the holes in the coil spool. You can't do that with this cord! It is however a smaller diameter than the original so does wrap on with no other issues.It's very strong. The red covering does wear off but that does not appear to affect the cord at all. Recommended!

Works as intended.
Very durable material. I tried to cut a frayed end and it was not easy.The length was a little short, but I suppose I should have measured the old one first.Works as intended.

Heavy Duty!
Definitely a heavy duty unit. If you break this one you’re gonna need more than just a cord.Make sure you only wrap what you absolutely need as it is a coarse set up.
