Disappointed - very thin
Disappointed - very thin, not super durable and none of them were fun colors. I ordered them for a boy just starting out with guitar since we couldn't find cool picks locally. Plain black was a serious disappointment not at all what the picture shows.

Fun.....
Not as pictured. No idea how to use the holder and boo instructions

Would make a fair starter set, but the holder does not give you quick access to picks.
Included in the package are twelve picks, six of them are .71 mm and six of them are .96 mm. The picks are of average quality, in a shape and style similar to a fender 351 pick. These are medium and heavy picks. The picks are decent quality, but not great. The edges are not entirely smooth, and would be helped by filing them down or using very fine sandpaper on them to clean up the edges. The holder included is honestly not very good quality at all. It was poorly glued together and the edges are not clean. It is convenient for keeping your picks together in your case, rather than in a baggie or just laying loose in the case. But the picks are not very easy to insert or remove from the holder. With a little effort, you can slide one out with one hand, but it is awkward and not very easy. This is not something that you would attach to a microphone stand, amplifier or anywhere else onstage for quick access to getting a pick out. It's just not that easy to use. It does keep your picks together, but not for quick and easy access to your picks.Overall, I was not very impressed with my purchase. The picks are okay, but do not have smooth edges. The picks look nice, like older turtle shell picks, but a dozen picks in this quality are not worth that much. The holder is such poor quality that I couldn't really assign a value to it of more than a dollar or so. If it were in a basket by the register at my local guitar shop and priced at a dollar, I don't think that I would waste my money on it.Pros:The holder would keep some picks neatly in your guitar case, rather than loosely laying in the guitar case. You get six picks that are .71 mm and six that are .96 mm. For a beginning guitarist that has no picks, I guess this could be a fair starter set.Cons:The pick holder is poorly glued together. The pick holder is not easy to use. You cannot get picks out quickly and easily. Not for on stage use.The edges of the picks are not very smooth. For a picky (intentional pun) guitar player, you would want to file or sand the edges of the picks if you use the edges as I do.I received this item at a discount, which in no way influenced my review.
