Buy this!It’s hard to fault this device at this price. Used with the Amazon brand cover, this is as reliable, robust and useful as the best Kindle readers. If you have an old one of those still going strong in it’s Amazon cover, you’ll love this.No, this is not quite as slick or as a fancy Android or iOS tablet - we hove one of each in our family (2019 versions). It doesn’t absolutely ‘pop’ and there is a very slight lag (0.2 seconds maybe....). But then it’s actually affordable - most people can’t afford a recreational device that costs thre, for, five times this when there is such a tiny additional return in daily routine use.So, at this price, the screen is good enough for any use you might have just now. I mean, who spends all day looking at 4K stuff on a tablet anyway? And the battery is as good as any. And it’s robust and survives being dropped in it’s Amazon cover (if you buy that - you should, ‘cos you’ve saved so much!).If I want to do some serious heavy graphic intensive ‘lifting’, for example using Affinity Photo (Photoshop equivalent) for creative income-generating business work, then, sure, like me, steal your rich son’s iPad Pro 12.5" that he can justify because it helps him improve the quality of the work he does to support his family.But for everything else, after 30 seconds, I’ve entirely stopped noticing the difference between this thing and devices several times more expensive. Instead, I’m simply getting on with enjoying what the tablet gives me access to:- everything!

I'm very happy with that case. Very sturdy, beautiful color. The magnet works very good, including when case open and fliped back so it stays attached to the back of the tablet while in use. Case has smart open to wake function. Easy to stand the tablet both horizontally and vertically without unnecessary adjustments. Fits perfectly, looks really good and does the job. The only thing is it's definitely overpriced in comparison to similar products on the market, even when I bought it with the discount.

This is a very nice case. It fits my 2022 Amazon Fire HD Plus (2022 release) perfectly (thanks to a previous reviewer for this advice). I got it for £9.21 in a Black Friday sale so it was excellent value. I think Amazon overprices Fire accessories as a means of offsetting the low cost of the original tablets, but it is very good value when discounted at these levels. The case is tough, hard plastic. I have discounted one star, as there would not be much cushioning if I dropped the case on a hard floor, and a bit of rubber at the corners might help there. But other than that it protects the tablet very well. Unlike some other reviews, I find the folding cover stand arrangement to work very well.

As the Fire is an Amazon product the only place to get covers for them is amazon, but they are of impeccable quality, very sturdy and feels nice to hold. Able to bend the flap on to make the tablet sit upright when watching stuff in landscape format or reading in portrait. Very impressed with it

Good for the Price

The media could not be loaded.  I just received this case and I would like to say that even though the description of the case says that it only fits the 10th gen model, it is fitting my 12th gen Fire HD 8 perfectly. All in all, the Amazon case for Fire HD 8 is the best option among the other options I had researched.

The same as previous cover, great , like a glove, hope it doesn't wear out too quick, might order another, be prepared, not scouts.

No doubt the I-Pad is far far superior and if you are a real techno geek you will 100 percent want to pay the £700 tag (£570 more) to get the I-pad equivalent which is an I-pad miniBut if want you want to do on the fire hd is use your kindle app to read books - play games watch a few movies then this is the device you should be buying - it’s a tad slow but it’s perfect for all those things and at a price tag of £119.00 for the larger memory unit with ability to expand you are getting an absolute bargain.Also probably should not put this in a review but you can go online and find a four step download and run process to add Google play to it perfectly legitimately just by pressing one button in the settings to allow external downloads from the web. Once on and installed you have all that Google play and Amazon have to offer - best of both worlds - (ensure you do your research and download it and insert it correctly from the legitimate site if you mess your device up doing it I doubt it will be covered)To note another advantage is there are certain games in the Kindle App where the actual cost of the game packs is 20-25 percent less than it is on the iPhone.One in particular which I doubt I can mention In the review has packs of £89 on I-pad and only £63 on Amazon fire hd same pack same game - now I never buy packs that high in price but this translates to lower packs as well £20 on apple might be £14 on Amazon.Basically as good as Apple are sometimes they are a bit greedy and when you start buying things on fire hd and see how much you save you will begin to realise just how a bit greedy they have becomeDon’t get me wrong I have zero plans to ever move away from my baby my iPhone- but I-pad is out of my life and fire hd is in !! Long live fire HD !

I bought this generation 10 for my wife who loves it. I have a generation 8 fire HD8 and I still love it, a few years old. However this new generation 10 is nice and quick! I got the matching Amazon twilight blue case and the whole thing has a nice high quality feel to it. The screen is a little bigger than older models, all in all a great unit! My wife loves it.

Ma fille a simplement voulu changer son ancien étui de tablette qui était abimé, elle a repris le même dans le même coloris et elle en est très satisfaite. Il s'adapte parfaitement à sa tablette Amazon fire hd 8.

Me ha gustado mucho esta funda. Está perfectamente diseñada, el color es precioso y permite sujetar la tablet tanto en vertical como en horizontal. No supone un gran aumento de tamaño ni de peso, es lo que se espera. Es cara para lo que es, pero merece la pena.

La custodia è fatto apposta per il Fire HD 10 generazione uscito il 3.06.2020. La custodia si adatta perfettamente ed è dotata di chiusura magnetica in posizione chiusa. Aprendola attiva il Fire e chiudendola lo mette in stand by.Aprendo la ribaltina e ruotandola di 360° rimane anche qui in posizione grazie al magnete. In qualsiasi posizione, chiusa o completamente aperta occorre una discreta forza per separarli per cui a mio avviso protegge bene.Non so, e non vorrei sperimentare, se sia anche sufficientemente protettiva in caso di caduta accidentale. A vista sembra comunque robusta.Inoltre la custodia funziona egregiamente da supporto da tavolo sia per la posizione in verticale che in orizzontale.La parte a contatto con lo schermo è in materiale morbido per proteggere il display dai graffi.La parte esterna è in tessuto. Consiglio sicuramente l'acquisto.
