I believe it is a good deal for the price if you are not expecting the more colorful images of an IR cut camera which typically costs over $12 more. I just needed to put under a shelter to make sure my parents had not fallen when going down their handicap ramp for appointments. If they looked a little off color it did not matter to make sure they safe. In case we need evidence for doctors I am also recording through network onto BlueIris using the ip address of the camera with /snapshot.cgi for the path. There is other info on the internet for using the other formats, etc. as you can determine yourself if you use the browser interface that comes with the camera. The only issue I had was trying to see if I could run it at the edge of my wifi signal which seemed to work but then it would drop out, etc., which I expected could happen trying to go too far from the wifi router. Working fine at twenty feet though a wall at the moment where my android tablet shows 50% signal.

I bought this camera specifically because it was the cheapest IP webcamera availible via Amazon Prime at the time. I didn't expect to get a stellar camera for $36 shipped. Yes, it has a laughable engrish manual, and the website on the camera defaults to Chinese and the image quality is so-so at best, but I'm completely happy with my purchase.That said, this is not a camera I would give to someone who isn't tech savvy, as I was willing (and expecting) to have to go to serious lengths (Wireshark packet capture) to get this integrated with the IP Camera software I use (Blue Iris), but again, this was the cheapest of the cheap IP Cameras.

Just didn't work out!Software CD came broken from the box being damaged. No booklet with instructions on how to set up. Didn't know which app to download for my phone. iSeeU app was compatible but live feed lagged very badly (3-4 seconds). Camera feed kept going "offline" and was not accessible outside of my house. When I tried to see camera from work, it said "offline". This is not good for security camera! Video quality is very bad, low resolution. Camera pan and tilt fine but lagged 3-4 seconds. Do not recommend. Please upgrade!

Works well as an ethernet connected camera, it kept disconnecting from the wireless every few minutes. It would need to be restarted every few days to connect to it from the app or browser, it would always time out. Put up with it since the price was so much lower though. The pan/tilt work great albeit sluggish, and the phone apps the camera came with work OK. Worth the money I guess

POS! not even a factory reset button. I changed the admin password and after that it was dumpster material. All HTTP instructions are in FUKING chineese. slant eyed crap!!! Go home yellow boy and stay there

unhappy with the wifi not working at all only if it was plugged in !!! really wanted the product to work as it said it would...
