Global TrussJR Quick Rig Clamp

First review ive ever left in my years on amazon! Anyway this clamp works well for me as far as clamping down in regards to the reviews above and I find these clamps to be very convinient however two of the clamps have stripped for no apparent reason. The tighten down screw doesn't turn anymore due to threading problems. Not sure why.. Anyway I will buy again (right now) but I hope my luck will be a little better this time.

Have to mirror the other reviewer. Not well made, refuses to clamp on 1 1/2" truss. Also big knob tightens in bad position for some lights. I have the bigger for 2" and love it, but this one doesn't compare.

One of the clamps does not close around the 1 inch pipe because the bottom arm of the clip does not work properly. It gets stuck. This clamp was obviously not tested to close before it was shipped. I can fix this by taking the clip apart and trying to sand down the aluminum off of the hinge so that the client can close. My time is worth more than my money and I will probably just buy another from Guitar Center. I ordered two of these. The other clamp works just as described.
