The cord would fall out easily, it would literally try to eat any fabric you were trying to work with, when it actually DID start to work, the thread on the bottom was so tangled and messed up and stuck into the machine. I was ready to toss this thing out the window. It definitely is not worth the money or the time. It is very limited in what it does which would be acceptable if it did it well. The instructions that come with it are worthless: you need to go to YouTube to see a video which shows you how to use it. The machine is not reliable. The thread guide doesn't hold the thread securely in place so when sewing you get a nice stitch on the top while the bottom is just a loose mess. You need a lot of patience with this machine and I would recommend spending a little more money and getting a sewing machine that has a few more features: i.e. a backstitch ability and possibly a variety of stitch lengths. When the machine is working properly, it does what it is supposed to do, but, as I said, it isn't reliable.
