Based upon other Amazon reviews I bought this rug and I love it. They come in two colors tan or blue. I got the blue. Lucky for me, either color matches my rig. Hold in place: I use empty jugs to hold the ends. I fill them with water when I arrive. I have some mats, as well, so I don't work with stakes. It does have grommets for stakes. The rug can be used shorter by folding down sections. I don't try to fold it back to original packaging. I sometimes put it in a basket, so any sand or condensate keeps off my leather seats. i fold it solo, but a second person would be nice. I use a picnic table to fold it. I dried it over a fence/clothes line. It dried quickly and then I was able to shake off the leaves. The way these work, sand falls through, Other stuff can be shaken off. NOW these are said to be superior to other rugs because they breathe and chairs can be moved and don't poke holes through. I toured several stores and looked at rugs, then bought this one at Amazon. I feel this is the rug to buy. I may use a small spacer rug at the entry (since I have a wheel well that sticks out). That will give me more working space and avoid bending around the protruding wheel. I am happy with my purchase.

Holding up well in an area that has constant foot traffic, two footed and four pawed and directly impacted by weather from direct sunlight to heavy rain. Cleans up quick and easy with a spray down with the garden hose, drains well when it's rained on, dries quick when the sun hits it.Purchased to use at the bottom of steps in a area that is part of a gravel drive way where our 5th wheel is parked.I use it as a "nap pad" for our doberboys.Folded in half with three yoga mats in between the folded layers and it is a comfy spot for the boys to sun them selves in the morning, comfy spot to sit on the ground, even on the rocky driver way, with our boys.

I only wish I hadn’t taken so long to get this. I just spent 11 days at a campground on the ocean, sand everywhere, except inside the motor home! The sand and dirt went right through it. Pine needles didn’t always go through but what didn’t was easily swept off. For the size it takes up very little storage space and weighs next to nothing.

This product is perfect as a sun shade to hang from the length of an RV awning. It's sun shade "thick", so on rockier, dusty ground, the integrity of the material I don't believe would hold up well, and, bare feet can still feel the rocks (tried it at home at our RV parking spot). I decided to not take that chance, and returned it. Price point is a bit high for , as I described, a sun shade/sail.This would get a higher rating had it been sold as a sun shade cloth.

We have been using this mat for 6 months now and could not be happier with it. We have a small Class B and it folds and stores easily.It is super easy to clean, we use a whisk broom as we are folding it. Rain goes thru it, mud/dirt brushes off and best of all, it dries quickly when it gets wet.I was also impressed with how easily it unfolds, lays flat and best of all, is lightweight......sometimes we just hold each end and give it a good shake before storing.We looked at many different types of mats and patio rugs before buying this one. Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store....everything we were looking for!

Used once so far and loved it. Wanted one for a long time but all I saw were way too heavy and took up too much storage. This one does what they say it will do and packs up quite small. We didn't pay attention the first time we unfolded it and later my wife just folded it any which way in a hurry. So that wouldn't repack. So, I unfolded it and studied the folds so I could refold it like it was originally. It returned to its original size and then fit quite easily in the handy carrying package it came in. I really like the mat. Hope it lasts a long time.

Best camping mat I could find anywhere. Moisture and rain goes right through, while still protecting yourself from the ground/grass/gravel. It hasn't (and I still don't expect) unraveled or shredded up. I would definitely purchase this exact mat again if I had to.

The open weave really lets dirt fall straight through instead of sitting on top. If you've ever spent time sweeping off a tarp to keep dirt out of your tent/camper/trailer you NEED this mat! I have found it works equally well for sand and dirt. It dries very quickly, even when folded up wet. Lift, shake, fold and you're ready for next time. I haven't used it in a muddy situation yet, but something tells me it will be just fine when I do. It would dry very quickly after being hosed off. The grommets are very sturdy and I use mat nails to hold it down just fine. Looks just as good from both sides as well.
