Very easy to read

Dr. McGee's Thru the Bible Commentaries have been invaluable to my husband and I's study of the Bible. He presents both fundamental truths and underlying themes, as well as information on customs and history of the lands in which the Bible events took place, in clear, easy to understand language. It's like having a very wise, kind and funny grandfather sitting beside you as you study, pointing out things you never saw before. I have learned so much from his commentaries and feel he was inspired by the Holy Spirit in presenting them. Whether you are a new believer or further along in your walk with God, I wholeheartedly recommend J. Vernon McGee's commentaries which give eternal, lofty truths in a very down to earth way.

J. Vernon brings Christ out in the Old Testament and is very biblical based. Some of his examples are best viewed in the time-frame they happened... I don't agree with all he says about the Christian life as shown in church, but his Bible knowledge is very good.

I first heard J. Vernon McGee on the radio back in the late 1980's. Every weekday, I'd tune in his "Through the Bible" program and listen to it on my way to work. Mr. McGee had a very basic and grass roots way of explaining things that really helped me understand the Bible better. His books are written the same way. Anyone wanting to study the Bible would benefit using his Through the Bible series as a guide.

This is just one book of the Bible that J.Vernon McGee reads and he was so blessed in his reading and explaining of the the word of GOD. He's what I call a Saint. I almost have all of his books. I am trying to buy them all.. May GOD bless you for reading the word of GOD..

Cette deuxième partie du commentaire de Jean partage les qualités et les défauts de la première. Mais attention ! le visuel (vol.39 théoriquement) est identique à l'autre (vol.38, chap.1-10). Le respect du client exige que cette erreur soit réparée.

L'auteur ne nie pas les questionnements des exégètes, mais ne se soucie pas de les traiter au fond. Pour le reste, son exposé est bref et intéressant.
