FYI for 18 to 22-ish foot powerboat captains...
I just wanted to put out this FYI for those trying to decide between G-4 vs G-5 sizes for 18 to 22-ish foot powerboats. After reading many of the reviews here and around the web, I bought these Fenders for my 2003 21 foot Bayliner Cuddy, and decided that the G-5 size was the best way to go. WRONG. Too damn fat! And I mean huge! I had no place to stow 'em! Yeah, if I was planning on spending the day on a log boom at the Hydro races with a boat on each side of me, I'd want 3 of these monsters on each side of my boat, otherwise, they're overkill. So, I sent 'em back and ordered 3 of the G-4 size in beautiful Cobalt Blue. For every day pulling up to a dock stuff and tying up to another boat in semi-calm water, the G-4's are perfect. And you can actually stow the things. Great quality. Great fender. Good price.

Don't buy them too large. Use G-3 or G-4 for a 18' to 23' boat
I bought these in the G4 size based on another review. These G4 sized fenders were a bit larger than I expected yet work very well. For an 21' or smaller boat you'll really only need two. One in the middle and one on the stern. On my 19.5' bow rider I can get away with only one, right in the middle.

Mine leak air pretty bad.
50% chance these thing are goin to hold air. I bought 4 and two of them leak the air out fast. Not up to my expectations for keeping an expensive boat away from a dock or when tieing up to other boats. The picture was taken about 10 minutes after blowing this one up firm.

Great Quality Boat Fender
I bought this boat fender for my husband's 34 foot Mainship Pilot. He is an avid boater and fisherman, and also very picky about what products he uses on his boat. He said that the fender was of excellent quality and just the right size for his boat. Great protection against the docks where he keeps his boat. In fact, hubby is hinting that he would like another one. It does come in different colors, but he likes the traditional white. So glad I was able to purchase a quality product for my husband's favorite hobby.

Perfect for tying up to docks!
I purchased these to use with my new bass boat when tying up to docks. These are the soft vinyl that will not scratch gel-coat. In the past I had a set of cheap ones that were harder vinyl, after being tied to the dock for a few hours waiting for take off in a tournament, the wakes coming in caused the boat buoy to mare up the gel-coat. These won't!

Great product. Highly recommend.
tried them out and they seem to work fine. Have only used them once, but didn't have a problem with them. I just wish they would come with a rope option.12/26/2018 - I wanted to add an update to this item. I’ve been using them on my boat for awhile now. I have four of them, two on each side of my boat. They work great. They hold air and I’ve never had a problem with them going flat. As boaters know, some of the boat launch areas have horrible docks. I’ve been thrown up against metal, jagged wood and broken, old rubber with nails and these have protected my boat. They’ve been beaten up and still hold air. I’ve only had to put air in them for the first time this year, but that’s to be expected. They are made of a heavy, rubber type material that holds up. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to buy boat fenders, purchase these. I love them.

Polyform G Series are better quality than the Taylor Made Hull Gard Fenders
This is my second set of fenders for our 19' boat. My rule for fenders is, go with the largest size that you can accommodate and store on your boat. I was looking for something in a larger diameter and ordered the "G-4", which is 6.5" x 22". I also purchased the Taylor Made Hull Gard fender in 6.5" x 23" and will be sending those back because they are no where near the quality of these Polyform fenders. Compared to the Taylor Made, this fender is of very nice quality, it is heavier and thicker, which will obviously add more protection for our boat. The Polyform G series has a screw with seal to cover the air fill port and the Taylor made has a needle fill similar to a sports ball. The sand color of the Polyform is a nice tan color, sand color of the Taylor Made fender was very light and not what I expected.

These things work great
These fenders or bumpers or whatever you wanna call them work great for my 27.5 foot pontoon boat. Don’t waste your money on cheap ones. These are a pretty good price here on Amazon though. This same brand will cost you a lot more at the marina store or boat dealership. No complaints.

Perfect..... big dog toy!!!!
So.. I use this as a dog toy.My big 100lbs Lab has broken so many toys and we've lost countless balls and wood sticks in the snow. I decided to order this, attached a rope to it and I throw it far far, even in deep snow. It's small enough in diameter that he can grab it, but it's very thick and robust and can't chew holes in it. Even with the pulling contest. Can't wait for summer to throw it in the lake without losing it to the bottom (cause our dog won't dive down in water)And honestly at this price (10-15$) it makes it so much more worth it!
