best pillow ive had.
so ive been sleeping on a folded in half, down alt body pillow for the past year. yes, i know this is stupid. yes, 10\10 would NEVER recommend. i basically pulverised that pillow to a flat state & started getting persistent migraines & extreme stiffness in my neck head and shoulders. i started to become more & more agitated after waking up with splitting over-heated migraines every morning, but i just couldnt find a good pillow. i tried mainstays shredded memory foam pillows, & those where a nightmare & itchy! foam was everywhere..im SO HAPPY i found this millard pillow. as soon as i got it i added the little pouch of spare foam right out of the package before it had a chance to expand, then zipped it up, lol lemme see if i can spell this right.. i sloshed it about so to "make it better"; google says thats spelled as zhooshed haha like you would ruffle a tulle skirt to make it puffier! & ran it through a full high heat dryer cycle.it turned out lovely. there was no smell, barely the breath of one before hand, & i felt more at ease knowing it had been sanitized by a cotton cycle. it fluffed it up to its full size in that one 80 min cycle, & i let it sit in there & cool for an hour before i got it out. i find the casing a bit retaining of my back o upper body heat, so i put a brushed polyester pillowcase on it & its devine. those are kind of silky but super thin & soft without retention.i did have a slight issue as this is a mixed blend of finely shredded blue memory foam(the good gel stuff) with a type of fancy polyester cotteny type meterial. well, that cotten type polyester fiber got stuck in my inner zipper as i was opening it for the first time,& i spent about 5 min pulling the little tuft of fiber out of the lodged zipper. i would highly heed you a warning to stand the pillow on its bottom and hold the zipper from either corner & shake really good so all of the fibers fall away from the undersize of the zipper. tap the entire zipper! i didnt do this enough before i opened it, & mine got clogged apon opening. no big deal, nothing broke, but it was tedious, not complaining at all given my comfort level rn.i have also been spoiled by my husband's pillow. its special, in the way that our old queen sized 4" mattress pad had torn terribly under us given it was a zinus, with no casing on it, just a sheet. think two toned gel & memory foam pad. when i upgraded our bed to a queen, we had to take that foam pad off in sections bc of how badly it had torn from regular sleeping. my husband then did what his grandmother taught him, & cut up the entire queen sized mattress pad into bitty 1" peices, & sewed it into a pillow case! i then bought him a zippered pillow protector to go with it, & it is now the most comfortable, expensive pillow in the house. highest loft ive ever seen, & cradles my head perfectly.i didnt have $200 more to spend on another mattress pad, so i went searching & eventually decided on this millard pillow given its positive reviews for easing pain. i will tell you, that fully packed it will be slightly firm as a back sleeper, but it is lovely as a side sleeper & i dont get nearly as many neadaches as i did. used to, my husbands pillow was my only relief from pain, now i have my own & will be buying a spare! & one for my little girl as well. it comes with directs, a cute greeting card, & full instructions & an easy email if you happen to ever run into any problems. millard givesa flying hoot of weather youre comfortable with their products or not!im also super happy with only spending $20, this pillow is worth every penny & i was able to afford it on an extremely fixed disabled mommy income. my love & loyalty to this company is now eternal, & i have never said that before. no im not being paid, i was just in a lot of freaking pain. id rather have a sprained ankle, than a migraine that radiates down my body & turns me into a useless board, all from a cheap pillow. very well done. anazon, keep these in stock! millard is the best💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

I LOVE this pillow!
I replaced my $100+ tempurpedic pillow with this pillow and I like it so much better! I find that shredded memory foam is just the BEST, most comfortable option for me. Highly recommended. (I also recommend their body pillow, which I first purchased and loved enough to try the regular pillow.)I just have no idea what to do with the little bonus pillow they provided ….

Good knockoff of COOP Homegoods pillow
I have a COOP Homegoods pillow for myself that I think is the literal be-all and end-all pillow of all pillows. I'm convinced everyone entering Heaven is issued one. My husband didn't want to pay that much for a pillow but wanted the customizable shredded memory foam experience so we tried this for him and my daughter. We got them for a steal at $12 each. Can I tell a difference between these and my COOP pillow? Yes, but $12 is really hard to beat. So if you're looking for a good customizeable pillow, this is it! If you're looking for the ultimate shredded memory foam pillow experience, get a COOP. I've had mine for a few years now and I still can't help but comment on how amazing it is most nights when I lie down. It drives my husband nuts how much I love my pillow, but it's that good. This one is a pretty good knockoff!

Works well for my purpose?
I am on my feet all day long, taking care of my ailing hubby. I needed a pillow to elevate my feet higher atnight to alleviate the swelling. I must have bought half dozen pillows so far, but they did not work, too much stuffing!Until this Milliard shredded foam pillow, I am testing it right now and it seems to work, the shredded foam has give and depresses and cradles my legs. So far so good, if this keeps working I will come back to up my review in a few weeks!

Plenty of stuffing
Since it's adjustable, I removed filler until the pillow had just the right amount for me. It's hard to judge but I removed at least a third of it. I had enough extra to fill a four gallon trash bag and later to stuff a 20" x 20" decorator pillow.I've never had this style of pillow before. I have been using a Tempurpedic solid pillow designed for side sleepers that is unfortunately no longer available so I was looking for an alternative. Side sleepers typically need a tall pillow to allow for the shoulder. My Tempurpedic is a tall, solid block with a cutout on the underside of the leading edge for the shoulder. That side looks like an oceanside bluff that has been caved out below a lip or overhanging cliff. The protrusion fits between the shoulder and the ear for support. I thought I might be able to emulate that given that the filler for this pillow can be moved around. That wouldn't work with the pillow puffed up like a balloon, which is its default staate. The knife edge is inadequate for neck support and the middle is thick where there needs to be a dent for the head. The thickness of a full, knife-edged pillow is in exactly the wrong places. Until you remove a lot of the stuffing, that is, and shift that remaining where you want it. Then it works great.Never having had a pillow like this, perhaps I'm missing some detail. Since I wasn't at all sure it would work, I chose this one for price and see no reason to pay more. The product is very nicely finished. Nothing cheap about it.
