The book is easy to read and understand. It is aimed at a MATLAB installation that includes symbolic math. I needed more depth to be useful for my project.

worth it
great book, written at an excellent pace for newbies to MatLab. I have been working with MatLab (self-taught) for quite a few months, and this book taught me little tricks that have made my life significantly easier.

Good start with MATLAB software
I bought MATLAB to help me with some robotics projects and the dcumentation that comes with it is sort of arcane. This book filled in the gaps and taught me to learn by doing.

Matlab for Beginners
Not as comprehensive as I had imagined from the recommendation I got from a friend. Very elementary and true to its title. What it covers it does extremely well.

Super basic, but that's what I asked for.
I would absolutely recommend this product to someone just starting out in CS. Remember to get a version of the program on freemat :)

matlab ugh!
definitely for beginners. Use it then get a more advanced "how to". I find Matlab a steeper learning curve than Mathematica-i.e; almost unusable without very extensive training.

Very easy to read and understand. Arranged for the beginner to easily progress and retain information. Easy lesson review and reference.
