Superior 12kW Self-Draining Steam Bath Generator with Waterproof Programmable Controls and 2 Chrome Steam Outlets

We had this steam generator installed in our remodeled bathroom/closet in 2020 and it has worked great since day one. I did have to upgrade the circuit breaker and drain pipes in the basement but otherwise, this 12kW bad boy cooks steam to any temperature that you require, quickly. It only takes about 25 minutes to heat up to 115 degrees, and after 15-18 minutes I am totally spent in a good way. Great addition to our home spa. Awesome way to end a hard day at work, long bike ride or strenuous work out, or just get some sweat on without the effort!

Bought this a while ago, but my home was under construction. With the house done now, I've used my steam shower at least 6 times in the last 2 weeks. My shower is 6'x5'x7' with 2 glass walls.. This unit gets it steamy in 5 minutes and totally steamy to the point you can't see the other side of the shower in 10 minutes. Having 2 outlets steams, this unit is better than the commercial unit my gym had! When I got the unit, my control panel had a slice in the cord (just the rubber boots around the wires), I contacted support and they sent out a new panel very quickly. They were very helpful in answering my electrician's questions and had great advice on setup and usage. This unit is sooo worth the money. Great experience with the company, high quality at a fraction of the name brand.

Bad product

I’ve had this unit for 18 months. No issues so far. Before installing, I decided to replace the controller to the deluxe version and customer support was awesome. They shipped me new controllers and a new board with instructions.The customer support also helped me with questions on electrical wiring.The included steam nozzles were not a match for my decor. I bought steam heads made by thermosol and hooked it to this unit. I used the included nozzle as a drain nozzle.This unit costs less than 1/3 the price of similar units by Kholer and Thermosol. Awesome bag for the buck with excellent customer support.

I use my steam room (5' wide x 7 'high x 10' long) everyday! This steam unit is a monster. The steam comes out fast and HOT! Make sure your room is water tight! I built my own steam room so I was able to make it into a wet room on all 6 sides, floor, ceiling, walls. I used Mosaic glass tile on the walls and ceiling and stone on the floor. This unit produces super hot steam above 95 degrees, at that point the room is too too HOT to sit down. I upgrades the controls and it looks awesome! The 12kW unit is perfect for my room size. The whole room fills up w/ steam in 3-4 minutes.

Purchased this unit used at a slightly lower price point. The 12 KW system was installed to turn a 9 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 8 shower into a super bath. I have used it 5 times and can't stand the heat past 118 degrees! It gets it hot and steamy! The system's thermostat goes up to 155 degrees. It performs as good if not better than the one at the gym whose membership I just cancelled. My recommendation is to pay attention to the KW recommendation for the size of steamroom you have. 12 KW is perfect for my enclosed shower size. I also spoke to the manufacturer several times before installing with questions and they were always helpful.

Easy to install and works great at a significantly lower price than name brands. Takes 5 minutes for steam.

I'm rating this steam generator five stars because the support from Steam Planet was outstanding. After installing I had some issues that turned out to be a defective control panel. Mike and Mark from Steam Planet helped me trouble shoot and provided a replacement panel promptly. Very refreshing to get good service after buying on line.BILL
