Parker QUINKflow Ballpoint Pen Ink Refills, Medium Tip, Black, 3 Count - Smooth Writing

I use a lot of Parker Quink ink cartridges in my fountain and roller ball pens. My wife, due to her arthritis, prefers a triangular-shaped pen which helps her hand not to cramp up. The wife had a pen she loved from Staples that had the cartridge run out of ink. She asked me to get a refill for it. Seeing that these high-quality smooth writing and flowing ink cartridges would work in her pen, I ordered them. She likes how smooth the pen writes and how much ink it puts out, which is just enough without soaking the paper or skipping, which drives me crazy. These cartridges roll much smoother with no skips better than the one that came with the pen, and have a darker ink. We haven't found the ink smears too easily, and appears to be at least water-resistant or at least Black Labradork drool and dripping water resistant. We are pleased with how much ink each cartridge carries. Comparing other similar refills, we feel these due to their quality, smooth writing, longevity and good ink are a good value for the money.

I'm convinced, without proof, the original Ink formula(s) for all Ball-point Ink pens of "back-in-the -day" included petroleum products. PROS: Ink never dried in the pen. Permanent on paper. Water resilient (no smearing). Very smooth pen-tip to paper "action". Continuous "ink-to-ball-tip" coverage (no thin spots). Seldom needed "scribbling" to get the ink flowing to the tip. Unique ink-on-paper aroma (Do you remember?). CONS: Warm temperatures would cause ink to run freely from Ink tube (see; pocket protectors/ruined pens/stained clothes). Toxicity (see; EPA/blue tongues). Bleed-through with thin paper. With what I think are the new Ink Formula(s) "of today", much of the CONS issues were addressed. However, all todays inexpensive Ballpoint ink pens and these affordable Parker refills seem "less" than their petroleum based predecessors (again, without proof of petroleum, my opinion only). You/Me buy this cartridge with less-than "new Ink'' formula because we like/love the classic Parker®️ pen we remember from old. Parker®️, as with other "Brand-named" pens once the norm, they're now almost forgotten. Yet the Parker®️ pen and cartridge design survives, as it should! This cartridge is PERFECT in fit and function and works dreamily in My 'very new' Parker Classic Ballpoint Pen. There is no failure in this cartridge ability to deliver ink to the page to express your thoughts/Ideas. These new ink cartridges will work as reliably as a/yours/my Timex© watch.

These refills seem be genuine, and at least the first one of three writes just like my previous refill! But if you buy from the merchant "Nuvex" (and presumably "India Home"), the two-star review from "Oliver" (see photos) is true: The ink barrel is even printed "For sale only in India & Nepal." So they have enough margin to give you a few bucks off retail, buy 3 singles in India, plus pay amazon's listing fee & shipping premium -- and still have enough left over for profit themselves! Doesn't rankle me, and there's no reason to expect any difference in quality of branded merchandise assembled in India. But if it bothers you, or you must have the triple-blister-pack packaging, you can choose "sold-by/ships-from amazon.com."

I bought a beautiful Kate Spade pen and the ink it came with was just awful. It kept skipping on the paper, was not smooth and was super inconsistent. I pulled the ink refill out and it was generic with no name so I looked here and saw that Parker makes a refill for this pen. I bought it and immediately swapped it out when it was delivered. The Parker refill is awesome. It writes smoothly with no skipping at all. I'm so glad to have a nice pen with ink that actually works. Great value too! I am going to buy some Parker ballpoint pens soon.

I enjoy the smooth writing feel of Parker pens. The refills can be quite expensive - this is a great deal.

One refill lasted 2 weeks, the next, 3 days. Parts of the print on the side of one of the 3 refills was worn off.
