BZS Fluro Flasher mackerel feathers Available in 5 and 10 packets

I should really be giving this 1 star, let me tell you why:1) I have literally had to empty my freezer to make room for mackerel (15 massive Mackerel in less than an hour on my last trip with these).Do these people think we all have massive America’s style fridge-freezers which we can store unlimited quantities of fish in!?What am I going to do with all these fish!?I mean, I like Mackerel, but there’s such a thing as too much mackerel!2) I liked the peace and quite of fishing, but I’ve been fishing once with these, and I seriously don’t need to go mackerel fishing again - FOR A YEAR!So now, I spent time with the wife, instead of fishing.But seriously, Mackerel do seem to love these. so 5 star from the Mackerel.

they look well made, albeit the line looks to be a cheaper variety.everything is nice and tied off properly,each feather is spaced the same and on the same length leader,the hooks seem decent quality,swivels are decent quality for the price (i attached the weight to the actual swivel and not the clip as it looked a little too thin for the rocky bottomed area i was fishing)After a couple of hours in choppy water and being bashed around on rocks etc they still look as good as they did when i put them on ... no breaking apart or falling to bits ... impressedI quite like the them ..... the fish obviously don't !!

I have caught mackerel and pollock using these lures trolling from my fishing canoe with a bass plug on the end. The line is thinner than usual looks like forty pounds which would limit the casting weight to 4oz. Hooks and plastic feathers are also smaller but still effective. Ideal for light weight casting from the rocks. I shorten mine to make it easier to manage with a smaller rod. Good value for the price.

Once I had managed to untangle the lures as they are fairly long and put a weight on the end to allow them to sink I had a great result as you can sea. Obviously was in the right place at the right time as on another trip out caught nothing, but that’s sea fishing for you 🤪

I used my first trace of these flies last week in Scourie Bay Sutherland and the Mackerel came thick and fast. I also caught several cod and pollock on them. I gave a friend a cast to try and he too began to catch multiple fish.

70% of the hooks are missing the barb or the barb looks just like a little graze on the hook. Lost so many mackerel while reeling in that I ended up frustrated and with my fishing trip ruined. I was lucky i had spinners with me... These are the worst kind of feathers I have ever seen. No idea how they got so many positive reviews, they are rubbish.

Out fishes daylights when mackerel are thin on the ground or the water is coloured, Smaller in size than normal feathers but very effective for most shore caught fish. Ive seen these feathers pull out mackerel and bait fish time after time when other methods have struggled.They do not fall apart like some other feathers when mauled by the mackerel and the only problem is too many hooks when you hit the shoal!!!I use Daylights and silver flashers but these Fluro Flashers are more consistent fish catchers when the going is tough.
