Great at trapping lint which is the goal.
i don't get the negative reviews for these. The are great at trapping lint so my pipes don't clogged. Yes you have to clean off the lint that gets trapped regularly - I do after each washing session. If you don't have to clean it that means the lint is going down the drain. I attached it to the drain tube with a rubber band. Works fine. Easy on and off. No problems.

Eh
I had another brand of lint traps on the portable washer. They worked great but were a pain to get the lint off while trying to clean it out. So I grabbed these for extras since cleaning those others took about 30 minutes to clear the lint from them. Anyways these came and they were huge in every way possible. About 8” long the elastic was so loose it had to be zip tied to the hose to keep it on. And they had to be cleaned out every week or it backed up the sink. The only thing I liked about them was they had some kind of slick silicone on the netting and it made the cleaning the lint much easier. It just peeled off in large chunks. But I went back to using the original lint traps as who’s got time to clean these each week (2 loads of wash a week) and you gotta keep a supply of 4” zip ties on hand to keep them on. That’s 4 a month. Wasteful if you ask me. The elastic needs to be smaller or tighter. Would I buy again? Not till they make the opening smaller.

Great product
The bags are used to prevent lint from your washer going down the drain. The bags were well made and much sturdier than those purchased in a local store. The tops were a little loose but that was taken care of by using a zip tie.

Inner lining too thick
UPDATE: We got a new washer with a larger hose, so the smaller brand won't fit, good thing I had these, right? Nope. We live in the country and have 4 dogs so between pine needles and dog hair, these are not working. The problem is the inner lining- clogs after 1 load. The open-mesh style at least let the water out and kept the lint/hair/etc gathered at the bottom of the sock. The liner on these catches it in a matted layer blocking any water from getting out, backing it up into the washer which then at least stops the cycle. I'll keep looking for a better solution.Original review: I ordered these because the usual 2-pack ones are getting pricey. The opening is too big for a 1" hose; even with a twist tie, the force of the water just blows it right off...into the sink drain causing that to overflow. My laundry room floor is nice and clean now, but I will stick with the smaller ones.

Lint Traps
These lint traps collect a LOT of lint. One would think this is good. However, possibly due to a old washer and 2 cats, after about 4-5 wash loads, the lint trap had so much lint on the inner surface, that the rinse water could not get through it and the washing machine turned off before all the rinse water had been removed. I'm not sure how to fix this.

Disappointed
Lint catchers were too long and after they would come off washing machine hose after a few washes. Never got filled before coming off

Won't stay on
These keep slipping off the discharge hose. Even with doubled up rubber bands it won't stay on for more than a few loads of laundry.
