Super-Duty 6V6 that thinks it's a 6L6
Happy repeat customer. I've used matched quads in a Dr. Z Remedy and currently in a Dr. Z JAZ 20/40 (both cathode bias) and these tubes have thick cleans with a rounded low end and glassy high end detail. When pushed harder they stay composed top and bottom but thicker in the mids.I tried running normal 6V6GTs in my Remedy and red-plated a brand new matched quad pretty easily. The JJs had no issues :)When they're getting worn out they loose low end and the highs get kinda harsh (similarly to the JJ EL84 when they go south). In lower plate voltage designs they tend more toward a 6L6 sound and feel rather than a traditional 6V6GT. This is cool if you want more headroom out of your Deluxe Reverb or Z-28 but could be too clean and stiff if you want a saggier feel and earlier breakup on those amps. When running my Germino Classic 45 in low plate voltage mode I actually didn't like the JJ 6V6 any more that a 6L6GC whereas a softer 6V6GT like the Tung-Sol sounded great.Overall a great tube for the money, robust enough to take on 6L6 qualities, just about the only choice for hot-bias, high plate voltage 6V6 designs like the Dr. Z 6V6 quad amps.

Did the job
My 15 year old Dared VP-16 amplifier that I use in my office started to develop a hum. I traced it to one tube so I decided it was probably time to replace all four output tubes with a new matched set.I popped these in, adjusted the bias, let them burn in a bit and checked the bias (they were rock solid). The amp primarily drives my Stax headphones. Can't say I do any critical listening with these (since it is my office amp), but they do sound very good.

Replacement tubes for Dr Z amplifier
I purchased these as a replacement set for my Dr Z JAZ20/40 amplifier. These are the same tubes that Dr Z uses, and the new ones came well-packaged and all tested out well with no issues so far (been playing them for a couple of weeks). I've had good experiences with JJ tubes. These power tubes are good for lower-gain amps as they have a nice break up when you turn up the volume and I've found that they are not as harsh as some other tubes. On a related note, their ECC83 tubes can handle higher voltages so if you have a tremolo circuit on your amp they work better and are quieter in that position. I do not like JJ tubes in the gain stages very much, however, as they just don't have the tonal qualities of a TunSol, Mullard or Ruby but I'm betting they would last a lot longer. This seller seems to be reliable and they deliver what they promise.

They Sound good
They sound fine but are very dim. I bought them to sound good not to light the place up so I'm ok with that

Great for Lonestar Classic!
I replaced the 6L6's in my 50/100 Mesa Lonestar Classic 2x12 combo with a quad of these. Awesome! I was able to play the amp in a small club and achieve a nice tone without killing the audience or the soundman. I really love the tone quality of 6V6's and the JJ's did not disappoint. The only downside is that the amp still weighs a ton.Note: Be sure to refer to Mesa's Lonestar Classic Owner's Manual for information on how to run these in this amp. It works for both the version 1 and version 2 LSC.

Excellent sound, Great value
Sound was absolutely amazing right out of the boxes. Purchase was made to do some tube rolling on a tube amp that I use to play vinyl with, very happy with the complete transaction, arrived early, packaged well and sound fantastic.

More headroom and good tone
So far so good. Replacing Tung Sol 6v6's in my Badcat Panther amp. The JJ's have considerably more headroom, which is great for my amp which breaks up pretty quickly. Time will tell how long they last, but the Tung Sol's they are replacing lasted about a year with 6 hours/week use (really low in my book)
