Gilmour Brass Male/Female Quick Connector Faucet Set

I wish there was a way to buy just the male end for all my tools that need to get hooked to the hose!

I like that these are heavy duty. And I like that the female end is open so water will continue to flow when you unhook an attachment. This is very important when I am using well water outdoors so that it doesn’t burn up the pump by stopping the water flow when I change attachments. I also like that I can leave the female end attached to my faucet on the house in the winter so that when I need to rinse off my dogs feet I can quickly attach a short hose. But because the end attached to the faucet is open the water will drain out and not cause issues with freezing in the pipes. The only complaint I have is that the photos attached to the item do not show that the female end is open rather than having a stopper that will prevent water flow. I had to cross my fingers and hope I was getting what I wanted.

Random cheap set from harbor freight is much higher quality than these. They are china junk.

These connects are an excellent addition to any garden environment. Highly recommend.

These were easy to use and didn't leak. Made connecting to hose simple and easy without worry about leaks caused by compressed and deformed washers. Easy to interchange hose nozzles.

I like the brass quick connect because I now live in a four season climate and during winter you have to disconnect your hoses. It makes it so much more easier for me!

I placed an order for three Gilmour brand Quick Connector Faucet Sets but received the Yardsmith brand. The bag with the connectors was labeled as Gilmour brand but the tags on the connectors inside the bag were Yardsmith. The Yardsmith connectors leak and will spray water all over you until sufficient pressure causes the connection to seal properly. I returned them. I have several of the Gilmour connectors that do not leak and I will search until I find a store that has the Gilmour brand.

I love the Gilmour brand sets I have but this is not it. I ordered 9 sets of G. brand what I received was 9 sets of "yardsmith". I didn't try these but just from the weight of these they are either plastic or cheap thin metal of some kind. Just one of my Gilmour male connectors weigh more than this whole set put together. Don't buy from this listing, shipped by Moonlight Supplies. I prefer to buy quality products that last not junk I have to buy every year and may spray me every time I turn on the hose.
