Ok for the money

This bike lock is light-weight and simple enough to operate. It also has rubber seal all around to protect from the elements against rot. It is used to lock a bike at the college bike rack where you wouldn't expect anyone to walk around with a metal/wire cutter. I wouldn't certainly use it to secure a bike overnight in a public place as it would only deter a casual opportunist. It came with a LED fob, but couldn't figure out what it was for. It certainly does not lock or unlock the bike. The reason it got only 3 stars is that visually it does not look strong enough. Only time will tell whether it stands up to it's intended job; but I wish it would never have to face that day.

the flex around the cable is quite loose, maybe this has some advantages to prevent cutting or something. Good small lock for the accompaniment of a larger heavy duty lock. The LED on the key is impressive, has many functions outside of use of the lock. Worth the money, definitely.

Face it - if you are looking at a lock at this price you aren't expecting much. I bought if for shoving in my pack when I don't want to take a 'real' lock out with me - going to a cafe and using it to secure the bike while still in line of sight sort of thing... I guess it will be okay for locking your front wheel to the frame or tying the bike to a pole while you nip into the shop for 2 minutes but a set of snips is all the opportunistic bad guy would need. Always remember with these things the old adage - you get what you pay for.

Purchased based on price and that wanted small lite weight lock just for popping to the shop ect, This is okay but any thief will easily pinch your bike if determined with this lock its very basic. As previous review ideal for emergency or if bike is in line of sight no problem. Overall its okay very cheap and suits my needs based on value of my bike.

This cable lock was only a few pounds and I bought it to put in my bag in case of an emergency. It would NOT be strong enough to deter any thieves.

This price and this quality are equal. It is fair. LED is useful in the night time. This lock doesn't look strong but it works for normal thief.

I bought it to use with my pram and so far it has been very good. It came with two keys and one of them has a little red light to help you in the dark.
