I bought this rope a while back and love it! I have only used it in CrossFit classes (which were limited the last 2 years), but I’ve gone from not being able to do one single double-under to being able to string together sets of 3 and 5. The biggest problem I have with it is, as others have mentioned, I only received one ‘keeper sleeve’ so the rope does slide out through the handle, which has the unfortunate, but obvious effect of shortening the length of rope that is looping over you. If I were more proficient with my DUs I probably would keep enough tension on the rope to keep it from being a problem, but as I am still getting my technique figured out, I’m still frustrated by the problem at times. Since extra end caps were included, I’m going to try and modify one (by snipping the closed end off) to see if it will act effectively as a keeper sleeve. Fingers crossed that this works, as apparently Zojifit isn’t currently selling this rope (some other product is pictured), which is unfortunate because it really is a great rope at an affordable price!

I'm sure it works great when the rope doesn't slip through the handle and create a lot of slack. The problem is that neither the rope nor the backup rope came with sliders. (Sliders are little pieces of rubber which rest on the inside of the rope so the handle stays wedged between the adjustable stops and the slider, which keeps it from moving all over the place.)Okay, to be fair, they did come with 1 slider, but that just makes this all the more frustrating - why include 1 if you're not going to include a second slider for the other side?Every time I try to use this thing, the handle picks up slack and trips me up. I thought I was getting a piece of fitness equipment, it turns out I was actually getting a deferred visit to the emergency room.If you're looking to buy this product, make sure you buy sliders separately. Otherwise, this thing might be as useless to you as it is to me.EDIT: After waiting more than 2 weeks, the company sent me the missing slider (along with a t-shirt) and I have since been able to use the rope. It's a little on the light side, but gets the job done. It's a pretty good rope for the price and as long as everything comes with yours, you won't be disappointed. I might have given 5 stars had I not been waiting for so long.

This is the best jump rope I've ever used. It comes with an extra jump rope cable in black and an extra set of end piece tightening screws. I don't plan on changing the cable out, because I like the copper colored one. This 9'8" rope was a little long for my 5'6'' frame, so I shortened both sides by unscrewing the screws on the little end pieces and moving them down a little. That did the trick. I haven't jump roped in a long time, but I've been wanting to because it's such a good workout. I felt like a pro with this jump rope with how fast I could go. The metal ball bearings are fantastic. The rope swivels around with ease which allows the rope to swing around much faster. This is a great quality steel wire rope that has a PVC shell casing. The handles are long and comfortable to hold. It comes with a little drawstring carrying bag too. My only issue is both screws that were down inside the handles fell out immediately after taking the jump rope out of the bag. I'm guessing they never got screwed in. I don't know how important these are. The jump rope still works fine, but I'm wondering if it's going to break or fall apart if I keep using it without these screwed in place. Since I don't have a screw driver that's long enough, I'll be using it as it is.I received a discount in exchange for an honest review. So far so good - always a transition changing ropes, but seems to be well constructed. Love the spare cable - always a plus to have a cable in reserve. Also the gold cable makes it pretty obvious which rope is mine during chaotic WODs when there are lots of ropes on the floor.

This Jump Rope is perfect to Double unders, light weight and long enough as you want (Adjustable). If you are a beginner using Jump Rope it doesn't matter, you could use it easily. I bought it to Double unders proposes and it just what I need.The 2 colors are just perfect for replacement in any case first jump rope breaks or something.

After using mine a number of times, all I can say is that I'm frustrated with the design. While the materials seem 'good', the design is bad. Handles slide around a lot and the rubber nipples fall off pretty often. These nipples are important for after you cut the wire to size and don't want to scratch yourself or get it caught on your gym clothes. Also, when you are cutting the rope to fit your body size/needs, make sure you have a heavy duty wire cutter.

This rope is great No problems with it at all.

Spins great but rope is a too little heavy for WODs with 300+ DUs
