Best knee brace I have purchased to help with " Runners Knee" Some complain of a rash forming were the brace contacts the skin. This is due to moisture (sweat) and friction, not an allergic reaction to materials. I suggest placing some cotton material under the brace ( I use an old cotton sock, cut to form a sleeve. Then place the brace over the sleeve) to absorb the moisture and reduce friction

I have used this knee brace on my left knee for a couple of years, mainly for bike riding. It has noticeably reduced knee pain even on long distance rides of over 100 miles. I also used this brace during a Grand Canyon crossing. I have a diagnosis of patella-femoral syndrome or non-specific knee pain. My knee is not arthritic. I like to have 2 on hand so I ordered an additional one as my son took one of these with him when he went back to school. He claims it is helpful when he does squats. I rinse the surface that contacts the skin after each use. The original one is still in good shape. Given the low price, I would highly recommend trying this to provide some relief during athletic endeavors.

I have knee ligament pain and strains from playing basketball and this brace holds it well. you must wear it snug or tight to work. very flexible and doesnt restrict knee. Not as sweaty as the full sleeve ones and much more comfortable. it does move down a little while playing ball but not too hard to adjust quickly. My son has Osgood slaters and the sleeve one is just too sweaty and they slide down much more. He likes this one for best support. of course great amazon price too!

I have a very sore left knee and am trying to do anything to keep functioning while also trying to avoid a knee replacement. Hence, my search for a highly rated knee brace. When I first wore this brace I was pleased. It felt secure, my knee felt stable and I was optimistic. After wearing the brace for about 45 minutes I was in agony. Disappointed that I was in worse shape than I thought I took the brace off. Alas, the pain diminished significantly. I don't know if this says anything about the quality of the brace but wearing it should not feel worse than going without it.

This is a great product, especially if you just need a little extra support. I was going on a long steep hike and it worked great. 9 miles up and 9 miles down. I don't think my knees would have done it without these.

I've been dealing with moderate knee issues for about a year, and because of crappy health care coverage and the threat of being tagged with a "pre-existing condition" by my insurance company, I've been letting the condition slide without seeing a doctor. The curtailment of activity finally got to me, and I started trying various knee-bracing solutions - single strap, ace bandage, bandana under the patella - with limited success. This adjustable double-strap works really well for activities such as walking, spinning, and aerobics. The lower strap has an integrated pad that can be placed for optimum support, and the top strap serves to keep the entire contraption in place. The inside is soft and comfortable, and the brace is pretty low-profile overall, so you can wear it under jeans without it bunching up the fabric. It was definitely worth the money.

I have been suffering from jumper's knee for about 5 years, and despite my deligence with rehab I kept re-injuring my knee (when using the signal patella tendon strap that goes below the knee). THIS BRACE HAS FIXED ALL OF THAT!!! I do parkour, which is about as high impact a sport as there is if your knees, but this thing has protected my weak knee perfectly (unlike the single strap version). Use it when doing the sport you like, but don't wear it when exercising or rehabing (to avoid dependence). If you do not know whether to buy the larger or medium, buy the medium (I had to send the large back and buy the medium).

Good brace for many uses. I bought it originally for overused bike knee syndrome. A decade later my knee is degenerating and I'm getting those great shots until the meniscus is totally gone. Helps ease pain and gives good support. My knee is 17 inches in circumference and L works perfect.
